compact and good hotel for 2 days. spent time with my family of 3. almost one half km to botanical garden. avoid bonfire. breakfast is simple and good. standard room is well suitable for couple. clean and neat

Complimentary breakfast is not so good, hotel team need to work on it..they served us a idly and found that it was halfway cooked.
TV’s remote control was not working, called so many times to hotel supervisor but they haven’t gave any response on it. So this hotel staff need to work on this too to improve the quality of service to satisfy the customers.

1) Good place 2) Staffs are friendly 3) More cleanness to be required 4) Essential/basic room supplies to be verified & supplied before handover to guest. 5) Since room is located little inside and road is narrow, guest should not fully depend on Google maps. Google maps showed very wrong information first time. Before plan here, please manually verify the location in google maps multiple times and dive.

1. The hotel didnt have anyone other than us ( me and my daughter)
2. Lots of flies in room
3. Water was always brown colour
4. Drinking and washing water was same ( as per the care taker)
5. Approach road was pathetic

I booked the hotel after finding so many positive reviews about this hotel. After I reached the said hotel, I learnt that the reviews are all bogus.
1.highlighting the worst : It is infested with flies. I swear, I have never been to a dirtier hotel, and it claims to be a 3-star.(a)Even after my repeated requests the hotel management did not heed. They made trivial excuses like and I quote: "Ooty comes with flies".(b)They served complimentary breakfast and left it open on a counter, which I found was again celebratory for the flies.
2.The bathroom, obviously wasn't scrub cleaned. I rather not say this, but I have to-I found hair and bindis-YUCK! That explains their cleaning standards.
3.They only provide hot water at their timetable. Just like some hostel setup, they only provide hot water early in the morning from 7-9 and evening likewise. If a guest decides to sleep in or come-in late, there goes your shower. Mind you, this is Ooty which goes below 7 degrees at night. [The booking listed geyser provision - one of the reasons I booked the hotel]. They straight up told me they wouldn't switch on their boiler other than these timings.
4.They don't have a heater facility or an AC to regulate the cold in the room. Due to poor room insulation, the cold gets worse at night.
5.Sticky filthy furniture : May be some old guest residue. Treebo claims that the hotel is Dettol protected and scrub cleaned. No way, it is not.
6.No corona norms are followed by the staff: No one wears masks or have they done basic surface cleaning of the room. The room power card is the worst. It is so dirty, it has never been cleaned in its life time.
7.The don't provide sealed bottled water in the room. They have kept a full jug of water of some kind, which you have to trust and consume at your own peril (I didn't).
8.Room has a stench. Of course it is the unusable comforter that they have provided.
9.One of the staff got so annoyed that I complained about them to Treebo. He kept accusing us of telling on him to Treebo.
10.The route to the hotel that shows on GOOGLE maps, is like an adventure. Then they kept giving us bad directions and somehow reached the narrow route that gets narrower as you advance to the destination.
Overall it only qualifies as a below average lodge, that is charging overpriced rates for inferior services and Treebo gave them their franchise benefits.
I am never booking another Treebo hotel ever again, because of their false claims and dishonest ads.
