I decided to travel solo for my birthday this year and was there in the middle of April 2022. I was a little apprehensive about doing a solo trip in India, but the overall experience was great. The hotel room (sea facing) was fab. Waking up to beautiful sun rises spoilt me. The room was a good size and clean. The staff right from reception to house keeping to the breakfast staff - everyone was outstanding. A few names if i remember right Prabhu, Akhilesh (breakfast staff) and others - actually all of them. There was this staff boy who helped keep my bag in the room and refused to accept a tip from me saying "I am a student and I am doing this for experience". Almost everyone etched a mark in my heart. A big shoutout to the management for doing such a good job with the property and the staff.

We stayed at Promenade on 1st week of April 2022. We stayed at sea view room. The location was mind blowing. Size of the room was good. Service was very fast. The food was very very tasty. I highly recommend tourist, pls do visit ths hotel. Each and very food was tasty. The staffs very helpful and courteous. Before booking ths hotel, i read many reviews and few were negative. Finally my brother recommended me. I thank him for advising me such a beautiful hotel. And I recommend everyone to visit ths property.

There are many positives so I will try and list them. This is my 1st visit to Pondicherry and The Promenade was recommended by friends. The location is stunning. Right on the beach front. After spending some time in Pondicherry I wa able to compare tariffs and amenities with other equally rated hotels. I must say this hotel stands out in both value for money as well as experience. Rooms are quite large with heritage feel. What makes a place special is not just amenities but people. The staff at Promenade is outstanding. Starting with Ryan who is in charge. He is a super host and a wonderful human being. At the reception there are Prabhu and Hira, both gems. Prabhu can be your local guide. Then Divya at the restaurant is very helpful and charming. Khan and Madhu are one of the most hardworking staff I have seen. I cannot recall all names but great team. Most recommended hotel.

Amazing resort with mind blowing facilities.Beach property which gives great relaxation to mind. Good place to week end relaxation. Food was delicious and service was good. Week end too much crowd. But still we enjoyed the stay.Thanks

I stayed in this property for 2 days. I selected this property due to its location and it being a Hidesign property, I had great expectations with the quality and service. Now let me share the actual experience: 1st good points of the property: Great location - next to sea and french town; Very Good Food; A small pool but indeed a great experience; Spaciuos rooms Disappointing Point: Poor and slow service - I had to wait for more than 30 mins even to get a pint of beer. They do not have any preference for their house guests to take bookings for the dinner table in their restaurants whereas other hotels give preference to their house guests. Thirdly and the biggest disappointment was the room maintenance. Washroom was very poorly kept and required decent maintenance work. Overall, the stay was fine, but did not find it Value for Money
