Treebo Trend Sahara

The hotel has good and clean rooms. It is value for money. One advantage is that there is Pavillion Mall just 5 minutes walking distance from the property. The mall is a posh one with lots of food options.

The rooms are quite spacious which is nice but not dat well maintained... Lots of dust and dirt in corners and on ceiling... Amenities were nice but the complimentary breakfast was terrible a big turn off...staff is nice

The best thing about this Treebo Trend Sahara Hotel is its Prime Location. It is located at Shivaji Nagar, Pune and it is very close to Pavillion Mall, PVR, JW Marriott Hotel and many other hotels, restaurants, food joints etc. Also it is not so far away from Airport or Railway Station. I stayed only for 2 days there but I wish I could explore the area more. Coming to the Hotel, the rooms are decent and the beds and linens are well maintained. The bathroom and rooms are clean, and all basic amenities are provided. I wish the room service is little better, like providing complimentary water bottle daily, replenishing the coffee, tea pouches, and replacing the dirty linen everyday. However, the house keeping staff are polite and helpful. The only I faced with the Hotel is early check-in and late check-out. My flight was early morning and they has limited rooms. As a result I had to wait 2 hrs in Airport and 2 hrs at the Hotel reception before I was allotted a room. Also charges for 2-3 hours extra stay (early or late) is too high. They told me if you want to check-in before 10 AM or check-out after 1 pm (normal is 11 AM) then you have to pay 50% of the room charges + taxes which I felt is high as many similar hotels including few Treebo, Ginger, Fab Hotels, etc. never charges so much. I keep traveling a lot and hence I know most of the hotel properties to earn good will always give complimentary few hours more if there is a genuine reason. Same issue happened during check out. I had my flights at the evening, and still I had to leave by 1 pm to avoid paying all charges for just 2-3 hours. I wish Treebo Sahara will come up with better customer friendly options for such scenarios. Coming to food, the meal time is limited but the food quality is good and tasty. Only veg and egg food is available. However, if someone forgets to order lunch before 3 PM then lunch is no longer available and one has to order from outside or find some other option. Good thing is lots of food joints nearby is available. In short it was a good experience and I am sure few things I mentioned will be taken care off by the hotel staff.

The hotel location is good. No toiletries, towels very ordinary. Roadside View from room was nice. Food inside the Hotel is below average and is only served in room. However, there is one Food Truck named POONA FOOD TRUCK within the same property and their food is very economical and tasty. Cafe Coffee Day is also within the same property.

Good that my expectations were low since the hotel turned out to be excellent in service and its location. I am a breakfast man, so the pathetic breakfast served in the room deserves to pull down this hotel's overall rating. There is not even a restaurant. Room was small, TV a tiny one and the AC hits you on your face. Nice shower in the washroom. Staff very friendly and helpful.
