Excellent budget hotel, clean and friendly

Room was simple, but very clean and had everything needed. En suite bathroom, loads of hot water. Very comfortable, AC and fans. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Simple snack meals on offer. Auto Rickshaw stand close by which is handy. Quiet residential area.
Very safe, friendly and supporting budget hotel for women traveling on their own!

I already stayed two times three nights in this safe haven! The staff welcomed me in a lovely garden room, offering drinks and nice bits of food and they helped me with all I needed: WiFi, computer, printer and advice. They organised my transfers very well. The room with private bathroom was both times clean, tidy and comfortable - and I loved the balcony the second time! The hotel doesn't serve their own full dinner but they can order your choice of foodto be brought in (which I didn't do). They serve breakfast, lunch and tasteful side dishes during day and night.

December 2019 was my second stay at the Chetak Hotel. It was just as good as my previous visit and I felt most comfortable there. It is well priced, clean and organized. It is well situated and walking or taking a rickshaw was quick and easy. The staff are most accommodating and helpful. The would razzle up a simple meal for us at any time of the day. If I am able to make a trip to Pune again I will certainly stay at the Chetak. Thank you to everyone there

I travelled to Pune in Oct 2018 for an Iyengar Yoga course and stayed at the Chetak Hotel. The accommodation was perfectly ideal the rooms were spotlessly clean and bedding changed daily. It was perfect for my needs and the reason for the trip. There is a lovely Verandah where we spent many a pleasant time. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We could order a simple breakfast after returning from our morning yoga session and relax on the Verandah. The rates are really affordable and didn't break my bank. I will definitely go back on my next trip.

We were recommended by friends to this low-key established. Upon checking in, we were deeply impressed that the guest rooms were spotless. Despite the low proficiency in English, the male service staff were polite and prompt. The response to our booking was erratic and the payment rather cumbersome. Located in a leafy and quiet district, we felt very safe moving around. Mineral water was sold at IND28 per 500ml bottle. Nearby options and hotels charge IND20. Bring your own kettle, hair dryer and small appliances if you cannot live without them.
