Chalets Naldehra is a beautiful property surrounded by hills and tall cedar trees. Aesthetically done up wooden log villas. Enjoyed the bonfire arranged in cold climate. Very tasty food and preparation. The children got to see snow fall and enjoyed this experience .Special thanks to Mr Raju who showed us the property, Vikas and Anil in looking after us.
All courtesy Mr Amish Sud, the owner who has thought of and designed this concept. A place to visit again and again.Hats off and best wishes for future. Thoroughly enjoyed with family.

Incredible Property - Great views, rooms, service and dining
My family and I visited this stunning property for 3 days, 2 nights, and recommend it 110%! It is such a nice property, with incredible architecture and layout which gives everyone great amount of space and views. We stayed at the family chalets, and they are very well appointed with enough space for a small family or couple (2-4).
That being said, while the rooms are GREAT, the multiple outdoor spaces are even better for you to relax and enjoy the incredible views in complete silence. There is nothing to disturb you, except for some beautiful bird songs in the morning.
When you need to eat, they have amazing Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner options. We tried every single cuisine (North Indian, Punjabi, South Indian, Chinese, Continental), and every single dish was excellence. The service is great too, with the team looking for your absolute comfort. That being said, I highly recommend including the food in your room rate, which allows for greater flexibility when it comes to ordering items regardless of price.
All in all, TRULY AN INCREDIBLE STAY, and we will be back soon!

Serene place for a laid back vacation
We stayed at Chalets for 3 nights and were mesmerized by the idyllic location and beautiful cottages. The cottages are great ( they are really like alpine chalets and not some replicas ) and cozy. The resort is located in the midst of deodar trees and offers great views.
The apartment we had offered all basic amenities and a small kitchenette. There are some improvements that can be made ( may be a luggage rack, working desk) but the room was true to its description of a log hut.
The staff is great be it reception, restaurant , housekeeping. The breakfast spread was decent ( nothing lavish but the basics were well covered ) and was served with warmth. We had most of our meals at the resort and the food was ok ( full marks to service but we would have loved some more variety / better Chinese food ) .. There is a bar which is fine for winding up a day.
Basically the scenic charm of the place covers up for all the tiny things which have scope of improvement).
The pool is a sight to behold ( albeit not functional :( ) .
Overall I highly recommend the place.

A lovely location and worth a visit
I went with my brother, sister and her husband who are all senior citizens. Overall, the Chalets and location are beautiful and if you love nature, then this place will not dissapoint. The Chalets are set in beautiful lush and green mountains. The Chalets , however, are not designed for senior citizens or any people with a disabilty or mobility issues in mind. While we all loved the place I feel it's only right that I should offer a review based on the limitations of The Chalets for people with mobility or disability issues. In general our chalet was OK. We had one chalet with twin beds and attached bathrooms.
One bathroom had a small step going in. The other had 2 steps. The shower in one had no screen which meant that water just goes everywhere making the whole bathroom wet, slippery and dangerous. The small 'step' going into the bathroom can easily be missed and lead to slips and falls. This happened with my sister. Her bathroom had two small steps. Despite being careful she fell down and hurt herself badly while going in at night. There were no grab rails in either bathroom, nor anti slip mats.
In general, there are a LOT of steps to navigate outside in order to go anywhere from point A to point B. And these can be confusing at anytime, but particularly at night. This coupled with the fact that there is no signposting at all,. Some signs aesthically done would help to go in the right direction of the resturant, swimming pool, reception etc,,,The steps outside have handrails at quite a low height requiring unnecessary bending.
I think the Chalets would benefit from a safety audit from the point of view of Older people, people with disabilities and children. Maybe they could have some options in the future of chalets at lower levels specifically designed for certain categories of people.
This is not meant to be a bad review. The Chalets are well worth a visit. My feedback is from a point of view that it is not friendly for people with limited mobility or disabilities.
