Walisons Hotel

We visited Srinagar in March 2022 and had a stay for 2 days at Hotel Walisons. The property itself was awesome and the hospitality provided by Mr.Sofi Babu was excellent. Mr. Sofi Babu is a gentleman he provided us the best deal. I personally recommend must have stay over the property and meet Mr. Sofi Babu personally. Thank you.

We stayed in Walisons in last week of September 2021 .Just 2 min walk from Dal lake and you will get all mode of transportation near by. Also there is man named Sofi Babu working at hotel who will help you a lot in planning your trip or any sort of information ( where to eat , shop , etc) Overall good hotel and nice staff. They also provide cycle , so you can easily go and explore entire road of dal lake in early morning. 👍👌

We (couple with 4 year old kid) stayed for 4 nights in Hotel Walisons in Apr'22. Location - 2 min walk to Dal lake, Ghat no. 2, Close to all good restaurants. No view of dal lake. Rooms - Absolutely clean and well maintained, Both interior and exterior of property is exactly same as seen in pictures. Staff- Very courteous and helpful Breakfast - Avoid including as complementary. Very few options - Aaloo Parantha and Sandwiches (that too only mediocre taste). Lot of good restaurants in the area where you can get breakfast easily. Anyways if you are visiting gulmarg or sonmarg on a day trip, need to leave early while breakfast starts at around 8:15 am and takes ~30 min. Overall - Extremely satisfied with overall quality at the decent budget. Unless you are looking for resort stay, this place is quite good for night abode while you are out exploring mountains, rivers, gardens and valleys during day time.

Good budget hotel . Provide small electric heater. Bed heating. No central heating or room heater. Nice and cost rooms. Clean bathroom. Recommend staying and it fits budget. Can't complain much as the staff was very helpful. Wifi was very weak. Didn't use the room much other than crashing for the night before our flight next day morning.
