The hotel is at center of city and accessible to major attractions. The hotel facilities are good and is recommended for short stay. However can be well maintained and window surroundings were full of peigon with smell ( this has to be looked upon since room smells bad). Parking and other facilities are good

I was on a business trip with my colleague, this hotel is good in very good price. Location is good and rooms were cleaned and spacious. Hotel staff is very well behaved, they need to improve food quality and on varieties. Overall experience is good.

Stayed here in the month of Feb.Had booked a twin room.The room size was about 250 sq ft.It had an aircon, shower with hot/cold water, TV etc.Breakfast was complimentary.The room was clean and the service was good.The hotel is about 7 mins away from Baroda rly station and 20 mins walking.It is located in a good area with lot of shops around.Breakfast was a buffet with limited options but was good.Overall good experience

I had stayed in the property only for a night, hence its basis that crisp experiences only. Pros: 1. Being located in central city, its near to railway station and markets are walkable in the vicinity itself 2. Room size a decent big (as I was traveling with family) to accommodate your luggage and still ample space to walk around Cons: 1. No support to get your luggage even from cab to hotel receptions (you have to deal with it personally, and its not mentioned any where in the voucher as well) 2. Extremely small lifts to accommodate even 4 people (ignoring what is mentioned on walls basis standard sizes) and hence not possible to fit in the luggage in lifts in one go 3. The blanket given was deep wet which had to be replaced when opened in night 3. Delayed service... Waited for 25 mins (with 2 reminders) just to get my luggage from room to receptions at the time of check-out and eventually had to do it myself only. 2 people standing at the reception and watching a guest struggling to get the luggage pulled out but none has the courtesy to support the same Do not expect much in service from the property...

By far this is the 1st time experience in my 10 yrs of travel experience of being levied with a charge of INR 100/- (minimum) for ordering Utensils (plate,spoon & a fork). So I was advised to at least order either a bottle of 'packaged drinking water' or a plate of 'green salad' to have the required utensils delivered to my room. This is completely shocking as I have never experienced such rude etiquette elsewhere in any hotel stay for the last 10 years (trust me I have stayed in all categories). I voiced my disgust opinion to the one I spoke over phone (without any positive result though), & I can assure that neither me nor would I let anyone of my known people come & stay here at the 'Best Western' hotel in Vadodara - turned out to be 'Worst Western' (God knows what is so 'Western' about it!). The other 'pain at the wrong place for the smokers' - this hotel is a 100% non-smoking hotel, so if you're a smoker, please avoid your stay at this hotel. Don't understand this - Yes, I am a smoker and I am completely aware of the side effects that this habit has yet I choose to be a smoker for my own individual pleasure or choice. I do not intend to cause any discomfort to anyone who does not smoke either, however, during travel (work/leisure), I do not accept such discrimination whereby there is NO 'Smoking Room.' Well, hello, I am spending as much as a non-smoker is - and yet during my personal stay at the hotel room, there should be some kind of provision for me to smoke.
