The hotel is located is just 1 minute on foot from the Assi ghat. So one can easily assist the morning Aarti at the assi ghat. Check in was easy and rapid. Online payment is accepted. Our experience was good. I would recommend this hotel. It was worth it

As I have done for almost two decades now, my wife and me stayed at Temple on Ganges, Assi Ghat. Location is perfect with great view over Ma Ganga, rooms are good (although not large) and the service and reception is good and very friendly. So, all in all, if you looking for a nice stay in a nice place in a good location, to a reasonable price Temple on Ganges should be your choice.

This hotel is very good. It's location is also near the ghat which brings peace to mind. The best thing about this hotel is that the owner is very friendly,cooperative and supportive. When I came with my friends we didn't know where to start with. Then he helped us creating an itinerary according to our plans. This really worked well and made our trip memorable. And. One more thing - it's terrace lounge- it's ambience is mind soothing. We can see ghats, ganga from there while chilling out!

The hotel is a heritage property strategically placed at a mere 1-2min walking distance from Assi Ghat. You get a nice view of the Ganges from the rooftop, especially early in the morning when you can enjoy sunrise over the ganges. Also, I must mention early in the morning when the sun is rising, you can hear the Subh-e-Banaras classical concert from the rooftop. The rooms are spacious, decor gives a very rustic feel, the food is very homely excellent and nutritious. The hotel also accomodates special food and dietary requests. The staff are very proactive and I must mention the hotel General Manager follows up on you after your stay, asking for inputs to improve and if any difficulties you faced during your stay. Overall excellent place to stay, relax and also pocket friendly.

2019 on a visit to baranas i was looking for a place near Assi ghat and came across "Temple on ganges" , spending 4days in fabulous hospitality compelled me to make another visit in 2022 to find same family like treatment, excellent food and hospitality! Thank you Madanji ,dilip ji for making our visits memorable! Looking forward to next visit soon!
