I had visited vistara resort with my family in april 2022. The stay was excellent. The resort was hygienic, food was good, friendly hospitality. Mr. Bijo guided us to visit nearby places, took care of our stay and along with Chef Mr. Rajeesh insisted to taste the authentic kerala cuisine. Also thanks to Mr. Rahees Mr. Nithin and Mr. Robin for the affectionate hospitality.

I visited vistara resort, wayanad with my family and it was the most wonderful experience. Everyone is so nice and helpful in every way. They have probably the best staff I have come across in a long time. It is a perfect place for your vacation plus it has a beutiful lake just in front of the property. It is visible from the rooms and it is one of a kind. And I think it's a paradise for bird watchers because there are plenty of birds at this lake

Amazing view. Peaceful stay. Loved this place. Good food and people are very polite and helping. Rooms are big. Bonfire was there. Main travelling points like edakkal caves were nearby. It was worth the money.

We stayed at this property on 05-March-22 as a family vacation of 5 members and booked their ‘Family Garden View Villa’ via Agoda.com for a night. The beautiful contour-constructed property is full of greenery with a nicely kept garden and lawns with a variety of flowering plants, short decorative bamboos, and climbers which added to the beauty of the property’s facade. It’s facing the Karapuzha Lake and Dam with scenic views of the mountains and the lake along with its flora and fauna.  Mr. Derin, the property manager, and his team received us with welcome drinks and had our luggage sanitized and delivered to our villa. All the staff was very welcoming, helpful and attentive to all our requirements. The so-called villa is just a large ‘non-A/C room’ (which wasn’t stated while booking online) that can accommodate 5-6 people comfortably. Its interiors were subtle, with rustic floors and furniture. The 2 ceiling fans were apt to keep the room airy and cool. The pool is next to the villa and can get noisy during peak times. If you need a peaceful stay, request a cottage which is further away from the pool. The beautiful infinity pool, along with a kid’s pool, isn’t deep. The room had a TV but with no working remote, no Wi-Fi, no drinking water, the telephone to call room services was dead, and no sufficient toiletries for all. However, Derin immediately rectified them and even gave us his personal mobile number to call him directly in case of any requirements. The cluttered entertainment room had a faulty treadmill with various board games. We enjoyed the carom board and table tennis. Kids enjoyed badminton and basketball on the lawn. The beautifully placed swings and the patios on the lawn allowed us to unwind after our sumptuous dinner, along with the DJ music and a bonfire. The restaurant and its food were excellent and appetizing, which were the highlights of our stay, and we patiently waited for more than the required time to get our refills at the buffet. The staff did their best to ensure that they attended to all guests. As the food was delicious, we didn’t mind the delay. However, the lack of sufficient staff at the property on this date is the most contributing factor for our negative review. The restaurant was the most affected. There were 2 group guests who overwhelmed the dinner and breakfast buffets for which we had to wait for at least an hour for our chance at the buffet. Although most of the food items were over, the chef did his best to keep up with the demand. We discussed the issue with Mr. Derin, who explained that their interns/trainees had taken leave on the weekend to attend exams back in their hometowns, affecting the staff shortage. I definitely recommend you all to visit this property. I also suggest that you call the property directly to avail of any special offers, and remember that weekends here are mostly occupied… so reserve your stay in advance...
