Hotel The Agra Grande

We picked this hotel for its location and going off the pictures of the hotel and rooms. It was decently clean and a good sized room. There’s no built in heating system and it was unusually cold and so just a small space heater that had seen better days was supplied. There was no hot water for shower or from the taps, very luke warm. We called three times for coffee and then went directly to the front desk to ask but we never received our coffee. The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and spoke English well. Other than the hot water and not receiving our coffee, not a bad place overall.

The room was ok, although very cold but luckily our guide got us heaters for each room. Without the heater I don't think we would have managed as the room was very cold and there we no extra blankets. We were right at the front of the hotel so it was very noisy. When we first arrived I could hear the voices of our fellow travellers next door and soon realised the hole in the wall for the TV cables went right through to the next room and you could see through, so I had to block it up with tissue! The bathroom was actually quite good, although really cold and at least we got hot water, which not everyone did. They seemed very unorganised at breakfast, everything was cold and it took ages to get a hot drink. Convenient to get to the Taj Mahal is about the best thing I can say about this hotel.

Hi, -Breakfast was very very cold and had to ask three times for tea and coffee. Brought it after we asked heaps of times and were very reluctant to make the tea and coffee -All channels were to be paid for and the receptionist said they were supposed to be free but kept giving excuses to not allow us to watch the channels on TV. -Overall a very average to low experience with this hotel. Room service was very bad and food was terrible.

We stayed in this hotel on 4 December, all most all the rooms were occupied by our people, we left our clothes in our room, in the evening when we asked them they took atleast 4 hrs to confirm about it and then said nothing had been left, it was only a cloth but their approach was not good

The only good thing about this hotel is the internet which worked decently well. The room was cold and dirty. The bedsheets did not seem ti have been changed when we arrived as they were covered in hair and past stains. We tried a shower but there was no warm water. The hotel is by the main road so is difficult to sleep. The breakfast choices are very limited and the service is poor. The hotel restaurant was not great as the food took forever to arrive. Also we were charged differently on beverages from one day to another. If you are to stay here, we highly recommend going to the neighbour restaurant instead, the culinary experience.
