Hotel kalinga is opposite of Kankariya Lake. the lake view is from the hotel terrace is so attractive, business and professional service is available. A/c and Non A/c Rooms available at middle cost near 2k to 4k. Hotel kalinga's second branch name is Hotel pruthvi wich is near maninagar. Food service and tiffin service also available.

Very nice hotel opposite Kankaria lake. Small hotel but we'll maintained.. Manager Chirag and his staff are proactive in their duties. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights via MMT. Food taste was excellent but spicy. Need to inform them in advance to make it less spicy. Tall trees outside don't give any lake view so it won't matter which side room you get..

Decent hotel with clean room. Even though the name says Lake view, you cannot view the lake, as there are tall trees. It was a disappointment. Restaurant is not available. Complimentary breakfast is satisfactory. Room service is good.

The hotel is located about 1km from the main Ahmedabad station. When we checked-in the hotel room seemed nice, but then we saw the bath room and toilet which was joined, it was STINKING, we had the hotel staff clean it, but instead they jus sprayed a strong air freshener which masked the smell for sometime. As it was raining, next day we had leakage of water towards the window side of the room, it was all wet, the floor was slippery and we had though time cleaning it. There was free Wifi which was told to us, but the same wasn't provided as even after asking them many times password wasn't provided. Food was good. breakfast was complimentary which was supposed to be only had from outside the room. Overall it was a OK experience. These people can improve a lot in terms of service and living up to the name of the hotel.
