A great place to stay, walking distance from Golden Temple, very well situated. Rooms are very nice and clean and the staff are very courteous and welcoming. Stayed for 3 days but 2 days is good enough to visit Amrita. Our tariff was inclusive of breakfast. Breakfast is ok, could be better but the manager is always ready to help. Served us hot Amritseri Kulchas but the chole needs improvement. The reception staff is very good including their security. The security told us to be careful with our wallet, keep it in front pocket when stepping out. I highly recommend this place for those who want to to be closer to Golden Temple and visit the temple as many times during the day.

Planned our stay to Amritsar with some anxiety as getting the right standard of accommodation and proximity to Golden Temple was key. Yograj Singh was amazing and helped us all the way enduring we have a great standard of stay and transportation. We went to visit the golden temple. The hotel is situated within the external compound of the hotel and its a 5 min walk from there. The whole area has been beautified by the government so it's a great place to stay and go for evening walks, shopping etc. Being centrally located all major tourist sites are close. The rooms are nice. Toiletries adequate. Staff is courteous, and breakfast is sumptuous.

Abode is one of the awful stay i ever came near golden temple arena. The stuff is ill mannered and abusive, poor skills of managing guest and as well as the staff. Zero centralization of authority. Don't go on the cover photos, they are just a trap to a big scam. The rooms are very small in size without any proper facilities, charges for water bottles and food are insanely high. We booked a 4 person stay but received a duel occupancy room and to more to our dismay, the staff refused to provide extra bedding. The manager was totally a ill mannered person and didn't even apologized for the inconveniences. If you are looking for a proper hostage and vacation to Amritsar please go for a better option available nearby.

In the pedestrianised Golden Temple area, Hotel Abode is a midsize hotel surrounded by some Amritsar's best shopping and dining options. However, getting to the hotel with any amount of luggage requires the services of a rickshaw. The hotel has a business centre, the multicuisine restaurant Zyka, and modern rooms. The rooms are in two categories: Deluxe and Premium, the latter is more spacious, though still modestly sized. Dining options in the vicinity are all vegetarian because of the proximity to the Golden Temple, but these include renowned Amritsari dhabas Bharawan Da Dhaba, Brother Dhaba and Kesar Da Dhaba. The hotel is in a 2 km radius from the bus stand and railway station and 12 km from the airport
