I am from Lucknow and travelling to amritsar for my business. This place is always fantastic and helpful. The rooms are clean and bathrooms are hygenic. We all friends love this place. The staff is always there for help.

Hotel New S.S.Residency is a good budget hotel to stay in located at a distance of 1 Km from the famous Golden temple and Jalianwala Bagh , Amritsar. It is at a distance of around 2-3 Km from Amritsar Railway station. It is in Katra Sher Singh near Regent Cinema which is very close the Hall Bazar , a good place for shopping in Amritar. The hotel is three storied with lift facility. Rooms are smaller but well maintained and equipped with AC. You can get hot and normal running water in the washrooms. Rates are almost reasonable. But the only thing I felt terrible is room service. No attendant approaches the customer even after 30 minutes. Every time you have to visit the reception for trifle things. We stayed here in September 2019. If room service is improved, the stay may be pleasant and recommendable.

I went to this hotel on auto driver's suggestion.This is a very good hotel to stay in. The Ambience was great, food was great, staff was very cooperative and helpful.over n all it was a best experience of one of my journey.

I went to this place on a auto driver's suggestion. Initially I was reluctant to have a look as this hotel is located in the thickly populated market area. Since we were tired to roam around we checked in the hotel and found that the rooms were decent and the front desk manager was a very polite person. They do not have a great room service, but the close proximity to the Golden Temple and various eateries is a winning point. It is a good place for a short stay and the tariff too is reasonable.
