If you are looking for authentic heritage then look no further than this splendid boutique hotel. It has all the character and charm of India. Great location for the Temple and Off the main road and so you don’t have the constant noise from the traffic. The food was lovely and a nice breakfast started the day off. My room was lovely and charming. Great place and would thoroughly recommend.

Ranjit's Svaasa is a treasure . To be able to stay in an old heritage haveli like this itself is a privilege. AS for the service it was excellent. The most memorable experience was the wonderful candle light dinner laid out for us with authentic home cooked Amritsari food was the best. Believe me No street walk can beat this. Yes that is an experience , undoubtedly but this was special in every way. More so because the owner Mr Abhimanyu mehra served us and regaled us with the intriguing history of this beautiful property. Would definitely recommend this place to stay in Amritsar. We would rather stay in a place with so much character than a 5 stay any day. Thank you for creating a memory....

Overall a good experience..staff is v courteous..they treat u like family..it seems as if u have visited ur ancestral home..dinner options are good...bit costly though. But worth the price..decor,ambiance, aroma, upkeep everything is perfect. Heated rooms to counter cold weather.. Very well located on mall road..not v far from Golden temple and other famous places in Amritsar. Pet friendly, our Pet Bruno was taken v gud care by them while we were out shopping and visiting Golden temple. Rooms r v v spacious. Look for suite in case u have kids and a Pet.

Having heard and read a lot about Ranjit’s Svaasa, we landed here hoping for a great experience. However, the truth is it’s been a mixed bag. I am being totally honest and objective when writing this so others know what to expect. As a quaint heritage haveli it is great. A treat to the eyes. The wonderful agarbatti aroma that greets you as you enter is most welcoming and calming. The rooms are large and comfortable - though, not as large as they appear in the pictures. Cleanliness and upkeep needs to be paid more attention to. Wouldn’t really recommend this place for small children or senior citizens as in each room there are different levels for the different areas - sitting, entrance, bedroom, bathroom - and one tends to trip on these tiny invisible steps. The staff is extremely helpful, courteous, warm and friendly - very very homely. They were very helpful also to help with doctors as my sister in law needed some treatment. Food was very good and simple. Again like ‘gharana ka khana’. Location is fantastic. Very central.
