    Again it was expected from reputed hospitality company. Marriott always deliver best of the best. Outdoor catering from Marriott hotel executed by Ajay Kumar. Everything was good and on time. Our clients are very happy and satisfied from food and the service specialy Anish chef explain dishes well and politely to guest . and it was amazing.

    Used to be the best hotel in this area, but has clearly outlived this place. Upon arrival my booked room type wasn’t available (king, non-smoking) and I was given another room. During our stay this week, there were permanent problems with the key cards, it started when the card I received at check-in didn’t work at the elevator. It was immediately redone - but also the second card didn’t work. Colleagues in the lobby were making fun of it because several of them experienced the same problem. The staff was obviously embarrassed about it and sent one of their frontoffice staff to accompany me to my room. His „master keycard“ worked in the elevator. Upon arriving at my room on the 11th floor, the guy realized that my card also wouldn’t open my room door. Again, using his master card, he opened my door and promised to return „in 5 minutes“ with yet another card, He never returned and I called the lobby about 45 minutes later. My complaint worked and the guy delivered a new card after 3 minutes. He rang the door bell and handed the card to me promising me that now everything was fine. I insisted on trying - and the 3 card didn’t work as well. The guy ran off and returned 5 minutes later, this time with a working card. When returning to the hotel the next day at night, the card had stopped working again and I received yet another card. The room itself was OK, but the water pressure was beyond acceptable. The water running our of the shower was a joke. I had difficulties getting rid of the shower gel on my body. The water at the wash basin was also merely a trickle. After flushing the toilet it took ages to refill for another flush. I hadn’t stayed at this place for a while and had forgotten about its biggest downside. The doors are low quality when it comes to blocking outside noise. I couldn’t find deep sleep at all at the first night because every hour another noisy party of people would either come up to the floor or leave - you could literally hear every word they spoke. Fortunately there are now other hotels close by that belong to the Marriott group and I will surely try one of them out during my next stay.

    Total disregard to staycation packages offrered on Marriott website. We were reluctently offered the service though the website clearly lists it. On top one of the restaurant staf tried to sold some yealy discount package which was totaly unsolicited.

    The worst experience I have had at Marriott as a life time platinum and a current Titanium member. I ordered a hotel car to take me to a business meeting at the mall in Bangalore. The driver said he would wait where he dropped me off. I came out two hours later and he was no where to be found. I then called the hotel and non one answered the phone. I called the hotel 7 times and no one answered. It took a while, but I was able to get a ride. When I returned to the hotel I spoke to Udyalk and told her what happened, I then called the hotel twice, while she watched as no one answered the phone. She said she would look into it. She then told me that the driver was not permitted to stay in the parking garage, which made little sense since he was already in a parking spot, when I left him. The next morning before checkout I spoke to another manager, Mehvish and told her the story and asked what happened. She told me the driver waited, for me, but could not explain why he was not at the pickup point, or why no one answered the phone at the hotel. What surprised me most was that no one from Marriott reached out to me afterwards.

    What a consistency hotel has. 2 back to back stays & in every stay hotel has maintained consistency of lowest standard of services. Not even iota of change. Still they maintain same excuses - lot of orders, staff shortage etc. Food & Beverages dept is so pathetic, that despite assurances they wont be able to deliver in 45 mins and 3 calls to deliver nuts *& beer. The quality of the nuts was awesome - soggy & smallest possible broken pieces for walnut/cashew. Never place an order for morning tea. For sure you need to place first in night & then again in the morning you have to call. For sure every time they have back to back orders and they will forget order to be delivered. This is consistency. I am sure Mgmt knows all this but they dont want to take any action.Another shock to know that this hotel is an 5 star property. For sure they are not 5 star in terms of hospitality. Reason for again coming back to this property was that another Marriott property in Vicinity wasnt available. Going by the reviews, seem hotel has shifted its focus on being a Banquet hall rather than being an Luxury hotel. Strongly urge Marriott Mgmt to do audit for this hotel and downgrade star rating. If this property is 5 star, then Sheraton Grand which is hardly a 1.5 km away should be 7/8 star. Mine experience surely confirms its due gross management failure. I am not sure, why Marriott is not taking any action against such property.
