It was a good stay in the dorm. The price is very ok and the room and WC is clean. The hostel is located pretty nice with 20 minutes walk to the beach. The staff was friendly and helped me a lot (booking train etc)

Cost of the Place is reasonable for the location. Service is good. Good food served but it is added cost. Room was very spacious, clean and well maintained. Wi-Fi services are available, but can be improved.

I stayed at Ekana cottages twice. It's a bungalow turned guest house and not bad for a basic clean room in a good accessible area. Location: its very close to Kauvery hospital near Mylapore which is a prominent area. Rooms: rooms are basic ac rooms ,clean and hygienic with TV. They provide towels and basic toiletries. They also have a kitchen where you can pre order and eat there itself.. Food options around: SAMCO chain of restaurants which is very close by about 10 mins walk max.offers mutil cuisine food and good place to go. Price - the rooms cost around 1200-1500 per night. Absolute value for money. Overall not bad for short stay especially without family.

Its the worst place ever, Satish is the owner of the place and we had booked rooms for my wedding in advance and on the day of the wedding this guys cheated on us and dint give us the rooms. He never bothered to give back the advanced money too. In fact we knew this guy in person and since this is a public forum, I wish not to use swear words on him!

i stayed with my mom and dad from 20th-25th of september. Well to start with, the guy at the reception is ill mannered and torturous. He will speak some language of his own. The rooms are either too small to breathe or are irritating for some other reasons. as we entered the hotel they showed us the room they had reserved for us...it looked like we were living in some one else's bedroom cuz the living room through which we entered was preoccupied by the staff of the hotel. disgusted by that we asked for a separate room so they gave us a room right next to the reception. there was no privacy in that room... it had only one window which opened towards the reception so it was of no use. then the receptionist would be always on the phone talking to god knows who 24x7 and the staff would also join him occasionally for a chat which was always vulgar. they had literally no food menu... rooms were full of mosquitoes... the fan was either dead or runs like a twister... lights were too loud for a cozy hotel room. all in all no value for money. and once again the reception was the worst part of the hotel.
