Hotel Sudha inn

Visited the restaurant it's simply superb. Mouth watering delicacies. We had idli sambar, onion poddi uttapam, North combo meals. Uddina bonda sambar. They serve everything hot. They serve three type of chatnis (Cocunut, onion, pudina) & gun powder with ghee. Sambar is very tasty. Filter coffe is also superb. All over it's simply superb have to try this place.

No-frills hotel, ideal for a short stay. Located on the main road in Egmore, not too far from the main shopping areas. Did not get a chance to try the restaurant. The rooms were okay, as expected for the rates on offer. Efficient staff, happy to help when called for. Overall a VFM hotel.

I booked two Non AC rooms and paid around Rs. 900/- per room for a short stay .Though the rooms were spacious but the rooms were not at all clean, it were dirty.Lift is there.There is a restaurant also but it was expensive and not value for money.But the location of the hotel is near to both the railway station: central and egmore. I request the management to kindly invest some money and maintain the hotel and rooms as ur hotel us strategically located.

I just stayed for one night because my flight in chennai arrived late and I decided to continue my travels on the morrow. The rooms were more or less clean, bathroom was extremely dirty (I put on my streetshoes to use the toilet) and I paid almost 1000 rupees for this non ac room. What struck me most, however, was the unfriendly and rude attitude of the staff. I had the feeling that I was not welcome and my needs a nuisance in their otherwise uncomplicated life. It took me 30 minutes (and a very helpful guardsman) to find a bottle of water!!! The staff just answered: "no." When I asked if I could buy a bottle from the hotel. They shook their shoulders when I asked them where to buy one... as a foreigner that didn't know the area or city, I felt quite helpless. Do not stay there!
