Absolutely outstanding Resort(Hotel) Perfectly Located. Very Helpful & Friendly staff members who go above and beyond to make sure you have the Best & Memorable time.
Personnel in here are very co-operative, Mr. Wang(Sr. Manager) & Mr. Nehal (Manager) was very cooperative throughout my stay.
Also an excellent Food & Restaurant service by Mr. Sourav & Ms. Bhawna.
And a great appreciation to all the staff members they are very Friendly in nature, so had a great time staying here.
Great work. One of the best hotel experience one can ever have in Darjeeling Keep up the good work.
We will definitely come back with family & friends and I would Highly Recommend this hotel.

Central Nirvana Resort, Darjeeling - Some insights

The intention of the current review is to let other travelers about a reputed Hotel Central Nirvana resort. The name of the resort is recently changed to Uddan Nirvana resort.
For a family trip, I have booked 2 club rooms in the month of March for October travel. Things were fine till data I called the hotel to confirm my booking around 10 days before the journey.
The hotel clearly mentioned that under the new management the hotel decided to carry out renovation work and unable to accommodate any guests during October and November of current year. I was totally surprised to hear the same and called Agoda who booked my hotel. Unfortunately they do not have any information and mentioned that the booking is confirmed. I again called the hotel and this time they repeat the same story but offered alternate accommodation in another Central hotel (they mentioned Dekling resort) but that was not acceptable to me.
I can see serious issue here. If any hotel decide to carry out renovation work in the season time then they must have decided the same very early and not on the day I called them 10 days before my journey. The hotel must have been informing me as soon as they decided that they can not honor my booking. In the season time it is very difficult to get a better deal just 10 days before and there is a chance that the benefit which I might get for the early booking is completely lost.
To me this is integrity and professionalism issue from the hotel side. difficult situation may arise but ethical business units are expected to intimate their customer very early and can offer alternatives along with possibly compensations.
Any way, I have cancelled the booking with the hotel.
Anyone staying with Central hotel in Darjeeling can think of re-confirming their details before actual travel. This may save them from unnecessary harassment.
My rating of the hotel is very low and certainly I will not recommend others about the central hotel in Darjeeling.

1) The cabs can’t come till the hotels due to no entry. Coolee comes and pick luggage and there is a 5-10min walk till hotel. If u are with family avoid at any cost. There is no proper lighting in the pathway till this hotel
2) We had booked 3 rooms and in all the rooms there was no water from 6:30am till 8:30am, and I am writing this post out of frustration. Hotel management is least bothered about customer satisfaction.

Not at all recommended for elderly people as one is to walk through very steep road. Even the road is very uneven and broken. Sum places little dark. There were no water for 3 days or more. Water came at 12.30 n the hotel used to give promise since morning that water will come. Toilets were dirty.. Restaurants serve only veg food. View is very nice though but overall the comfort was not at all there. They charge 4500 but bathroom facility... No water..mismanagement makes it worth not more than 2k. The breakfast menu was good though. They cannot provide a full bucket water also whole day. So if u can stay without water u can stay here.

Parking -Zero- Vehicle Drops your near the Bhavan and guests have to walk half a km...(senior citizens will collapse because of the terrain)
Worst part is you get caught in bathroom...as water stops suddenly...while night you don’t have water...guests who were there have been suffering this...
The hotel is now under some Udaan Group!
The manager is clueless and all the guests keep scolding him... the poor chap is helpless...
