Dev Bhoomi Farms & Cottages Dharamshala

Went to Dharamshala for a Business Visit and wanted to stay away from the Hussel & Bustle of Citylife. Was recommended this place by a Friend , its amazingly beautiful , the walk to the Farm is mesmerising , the owner Samridh Singh Katoch is always there personally to help out for any kind of planning or need , personally taking care of the Food Menu Planning , the staff is very courteous and spontaneous . The Snow Clad Dalhoudhar Ranges view from the resort , the amazingly soothing sound of the flowing water from the stream next doors , chirping of the Birds , its phenomenal. The cottages are so comfortably and well prepared , taking care of the minutest detailing . It was the most memorable trip for me after a long long time

If one is looking for a peaceful stay away from the tumultuous of the city then Devi Bhoomi Farms is the perfect place. The approach is a little hard as the property is situated inside the village and the roads are narrow. The walk from the parking is almost a 500mtr walk. For someone who enjoys walking it will be an added leisure as the walk is along side a stream with rice plantations all around. The owner Mr. Samridh and his staff is very welcoming. Dev Bhoomi Farms is one place where you should just go and get lost in the beauty of nature while enjoying the early sunrise by the river side. (To approach to river there are around 20-30 steep staircase and a small 100 mtr treak). A special thanks to Mr. Samridh for being extremely helping, warm and welcoming host.

A very serene farmstay.As close to nature as it can get.Car cannot be accessed to the resort and one has to walk about 500 mtrs to the resort.The walk is surreal through farms and constant sound of water from a stream alongside.Once inside the tents are quite comfortable to live in...would not say luxurious but as comfortable as is needed for the feel of a farm stay.There is a stream just along the resort directly accessible from the resort. The hospitality extended by the owner Mr Samridh is beyond words.He planned our entire iternary for 4 days and every evening was with us and made it to be a celebration for us every night by curating a different experience daily. If one is looking for rustic but comfortable farm stay experience near dharamshala this is the place to go to.

Nicely arranged tent accommodation next to a river awaits one at Dev Bhoomi, great location with a view of snow capped peaks, located close to the cricket stadium, staff were very good, food was homely... What can be better? Price seemed particularly high, a very less variety of food options, one cook who does home style preparation - once you know what the cook can do, it is much easier to order food, location although nice there is quite a bit of walk through either wheat farmland or gravelroad from parking area which got trickier when raining

It is an offbeat location away from city. It is on outskirts so you do not get anything nearby. Travelling anywhere from this place would be expensive. So apart from connectivity and location, it was a comfortable stay and supportive staff.
