Recently took a trip to Goa and stayed in Candolim at Libton Manor. Despite us having no prior booking, my friends and I managed to get a room at this place thanks to the owner who was sweet enough to accommodate us amid quite a busy weekend. The room was extremely clean with a functioning AC that was much-needed in the October heat.

- Walking distance from the beach as well as all the cafes/bars in the area
- Budget-friendly

Very homely atmosphere, place is very clean and hygiene well maintained. Stafff are very professional and owner meets us on a very personal level and due to his good knowledge he personalized our itenary for the entire stay. Now that’s what I call hospitality.
During the current pandemic I found a decent place with all the necessary safety measures taken care of.

Staying in Libton Manor for 4 weeks. The rooms are clean and spacious the bed is very comfortable. The rooms are cleaned every day and The bedding and towels changed every other day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room has a good sized balcony. They also provide a kettle and mugs ect. We would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay at Libton manor. The location is excellent to be in the heart of candalim, local shops chemist barber within 100 yards, and just across the road is beach road full of bars and restaurants. Our room was very clean and suited our needs, we had fans and air con, WiFi and a tv with sky channels.. There's no dining room so breakfast was brought up to our room each morning on request, it was omelette toast and jam and a flask if hot water to make coffee tea. One problem was the wardrobe was too small to house our clothes...it was like a tall boy so we had to hang clothes outside it. A few power cuts during our stay but always one fan stayed on and one light so we weren't in the dark,. Hot water was always available, one thing we missed was a safe , we locked our valuables up and didn't have any issues with security , we also used a padlock on our front door if we didn't want the room cleaned. The only thing we did miss was a pool, Libton Manor would be perfect with a pool, we would definitely recommend and would return, the staff were very friendly and we were made welcome.

We booked 4 rooms and stayed in the hotel from 26th April for two days but never thought it would be Nightmare , Worst Service and Illogical Answers will be given.
No Power for 10 hours on April 27th , no power on April 26th for hours and no back up even for one minute.
When asked why there is no back up even for fan or Light, never heard a illogical answer from any hotelier till now in our life that it's Department Fault .
By that logic if department will not provide electricity for two days then you have to be without light , fan and ac for two nights/days.
Another Joke was when asked for Wi-Fi , answer was don't have Password , have you ever heard this type of answer from any hotel in your life ?
It's laughable and really sad to hear.
Owner phone was switched off for 4 Nights we stayed.
And were lying that they are trying to get password from owner and will put On the Wi-Fi in sometime , it never happened.
Above all were charged 2000 extra for rooms ( 250 per room whereas I am attaching pics which shows difference is only 60 rupees ) which were just having balcony extra , which were of no use in the humid and hot weather.
It's not about paying extra , it's about attitude of staff besides knowing that our holiday was ruined ,No refund was provided giving Silly Excuses.
On Yatra.com from where we booked it's clearly written they have Swimming Pool , may be you may find in dreams but not in reality.
