We spent our anniversary in Acacia Palms resort. The resort is smaller than the property at Varca Beach but that has the perks of being less crowded and getting more personal service from the staff. The check in was very seamless as they had contacted me prior to the stay and asked me to check in online through the app and thus we did not have to spend time submitting documents at the front desk. The staff was very helpful and helped us with our queries. The resort was located in a nice place with lots of shacks nearby to buy small essentials and eat food. There was a bike and car rental service shop also nearby. The pool was well maintained and less crowded. The Colva beach is just a minute walk away and clean and less crowded even though it is not a private beach. They got a cake for the anniversary and celebrated it with us which was very sweet. Food was absolutely delicious with a live counter of goan specialities during dinner. This resort is equally as good as the Varca beach property.

Acacia Palms is a property in South Goa on Colva Beach run by Club Mahindra with 60 Hotel Unit rooms. I would give this property 4/5 on all aspects. Entry to this property is not so good, approach road is under construction. Lobby is average. Rooms are very spacious, big bathrooms and furniture gives the Portuguese ambience. All rooms have sitout with table & chairs. You have a choice of 2 types of rooms. One is overlooking the sea (not clear view of sea due to big trees) from where you can hear the waves dashing the shores and have a long view of sea. But there is a canal passing nearby these rooms which is source of mosquitoes. Another rooms are garden facing which are really good and gives a view of well maintained and curated garden. Staff is very co-operative. They willingly changed our room from sea view to garden view. Housekeeping was a problem with AC not working properly and room overall cleanliness was required. Which housekeeping did it nicely later. Property has a very good restaurant viz. Ripples with beautiful interior but very costly food as is in all Club Mahindra properties. Tried Fish & Chips and King fish made in Goan style both were mouth watering. Beach Barrels Bar (which is above the activity area) is sitting area with shade overlooking the sea is a place where you can sit for hours together.. Small and well maintained pool. Garden is watered early morning with hotel's waste recycled water which stinks so much that you feel that septic tank cover is opened in your room. Management should do something about this. This property is very close (hardly 300 mts) from the most beautiful beach of South Goa – Colva. Many restaurants on the way to Colva beach and beach is flooded with shacks. Hence, many eating options and opportunities.

Place is nice and special efforts were made by Dilip and Priya to make sure the guests have food of their choice and palette. We are vegan so instantly scrumptious dishes were provided for us even in a buffet with so rich curries and veggies. Really appreciate the staff responsiveness. Overall a good stay. Location very very close to colva Beach.

The property is good. The staff very responsive and helpful. The location is also great, one has options of browsing around local shops. However the food could do with some improvement. It is not up to Club Mahindra standards.
