Resort Rio

We are so glad that we found this amazing paradise like hotel in the heart of Goa. I haven't seen such level of customer service at any of the hotels before, it surely did surpass all the great hotel experiences that we have had in the past. You name the department and in each one of them you will find yourself such humble and friendly people that you wouldn't shy away from going to them multiple times. Upon entry we were welcomed by Stephen who took great pride in giving us the tour of the hotel and we totally fell in love with the property. It is a beautiful property with such spacious and well designed rooms, totally instagrammable! We decided to stay at Rio and call it our good luck or something else Stephen made our day when he helped to upgrade our room and there was no stopping our happiness thereafter. We were even offered happy hours at the cafe. The people at the front desk were equally friendly specially Dainy, he was extremely welcoming and suggested us the best places to visit in Goa. The house keeping staff were amazingly sweet too and left no stones unturned to make us feel special (left a towel art for us in the room - Thank you Seby, Kasam and Aarti). Additionally the breakfast spread was fantastic and they happily got me a Cafe Latte upon request even though it was not a part of the buffet. We had initially booked it for a day but extended it for another day seeing the hospitality of the staff. One day surely wasn't enough for this beautiful and hospitable property. The Spa is another thing that just cannot be missed. What makes Rio "Rio" is definitely the hospitality and the never say never attitude of the staff - They make sure that you return with only and only good memories of the stay. You guys truly are ROCKSTARS! Thank you to the entire team at Resort Rio. We surely will come back soon, this time with a bigger group!

Ambience is excellent. Staff is very kind. Food is good. Special thanks to Mr. Amol, Khusboo, robita, vaman , anushree etc. very kind helpful and their work was outstanding. Zero Star, don’t be fooled, no cleanliness and hospitality. 1. If you want to ruin your vacations then only go to this resort. 2. Then the WATER in their washroom is full of DIRT, UNHYGIENIC and CONTAMINATED. Watch the attached Video. 3. Don’t be fooled by their guest relation team manager STEPHEN and team member KHUSHBOO. They will tell you to wait for 15 mins and they will come to meet you but they would never come. They will then STOP PICKING your phone. 4. It started with worst check in experience you can have in your life even when you are paying the 5 star money. We payed for extra night to check in at 2 am in the morning, there were no staff available. The bell boy who checked us in took 2 hours and didn’t have a hint about how to check in a guest. 5. The rooms are full of dirt. 6. They are hugely under staffed with interns working for them who don’t understand what hospitality mean. So don’t expect they are going to solve anything. 7. They will charge you for if you ask for ICE it in the room. 8. They have one kitchen that is far away and when you order any thing it will take a year to come back with your order. 9. Hotel is full of BIRD beats all over. Refer video. 10. There is NO SECURITY guard. Only 1 person that runs to open the gate and then runs back to park your car as a valet. (Refer video) 11. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST.
