We visited this place from 13-16 April 22 and found it to be perfect stay for family. Resort was lavish, pool was good and clean, kids pool & jacuzzi was open. It is beach property with candolim beach just few 100 mts, beach is very neat and clean and away from outside crowd. Staff was well spoken and extremely helpful. Rooms were big enough for kids to walk around with attached balcony. Washrooms were neat and clean. Ample for parking space. For sure I this will be my regular place to stay in Goa. I would highly recommend this place.

Myself and my wife have just arrived home after a fabulous two weeks,staying at the sonesta inns.Everything exceded our expectations,from the spacious and spotless room,the view from our second floor pool view room,we had emailed hotel asking for said room.The breakfast served in the hotel was excellent,always plenty of choice.All of the staff were so friendly,from the pool guy, gardeners working extremely hard to keep the grounds pristine, thanks to all waiters and reception staff who exceeded themselves. The walk from the hotel to the beach, truly felt like you were in paradise , it takes about 3 minutes to walk to the beach, which is outstanding. We cannot recommend this hotel enough, thanks for making this our holiday to Goa a truly outstanding experience. We stayed for 2 weeks and fully intend to return next year for 3 weeks, we felt 2 weeks was not long enough.......... Thanks again John and Tracey.

Want to give 5 stars, but I must say there is a slight chance of improvement in hospitality. Quite a few staff members (not all!) don't carry a smile on their faces while talking to the guests, and are mostly too blunt in answering to queries/requests. For the kind of property Sonesta is, this can become a let down. Besides that, everything is excellent - property, its access from Candolim beach, rooms, swimming pool, garden area, lawn, restaurant, breakfast, food types, quality, etc. - everything is great! This place is definitely worth a stay in Goa. P.S. there were always some mosquitoes in rooms/bathrooms (they were present the moment we checked in! - so it can't be the case that they came after we opened gallery doors). Though we didn't complain about that there (we should have!), IMO management should do something about it.

The staff of hotel is decent - they are not outstanding but they are not bad either. The lady at front desk was accommodative of our request to change the suite given to us - but less availability meant we got it on next day. The pool is LARGE and ranges from 3 feet to 6.2 feet depth. We had good time there with VAST open lawns and large pool. The rooms are generally clean but bathrooms have mold - LOTS of it! This was pretty bad and "urghhh" to see. Also, the breakfast ends at 10! this was our WTF moment. Also, checkout time is 11AM! Who wakes up that early and packs - in Goa?!??? No one!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sonesta. Even during covid they had full staff and were well prepared to manage the holiday rush. Very well maintained and clean, the housekeeping and room service were on point and very swift. We were here during our wedding anniversary and on request they decorated our room. The best part about staying here is the private access to beach. The stretch of beach is very clean and peaceful with a few shacks around. Just the perfect place to sit back, unwind, enjoy your drink witnessing the sundowner. Would recommend for sure!!
