Famafa Beach Resort

This place was 2mins walking distance to Arambol beach and in a middle of main market and lots of cafes. Despite such a location, the hotel was quiet and had very spacious rooms. Very neat rooms and staff was available at late nights also for any help. The hotel gas good vibes and apt priced given its location. It seems to be newly built hotel. Highly recommend!

Famafa beach resort is budget hotel for stay. Staff are working helpful and friendly too. Room is average but room services are also very good. Food qualities are good and food taste also good. We had good experience here.

Fair priced hotel with large rooms and shower, great if your on a budget, room could do with a touch of paint but serves its purpose well, this hotel is not on the beach but very close, nestled just up the lane a few min's from the beach, Close to all types of shops and food outlets. The hotel offers free wifi but not quite in the room, i did pick it up close to the door. there is a yoga school on the roof terrace and a money changer within the building. i stayed 13 nights before moving on and only had 2 noisy nights, all round a good place to plot up and explore Arambol.

They have nice big rooms and clean rooms. Rooms with balcony are good and peaceful. 2 minutes walk from the beach. Food, groccery,beer all is available just outside the hotel till late. room service little expensive.

We booked into the Ramada for 10 nights and paid for this at Christmas. Upon arrival at 1am we were greeted by one of the staff throwing chairs and tables around the room to be told that we had no room as it had been double booked. The story then changed as we asked to speak with the manager and we were told that there were two Famafas and that we were at the wrong one!! We were then left in the dark in the reception as they turned all the lights out on us and we were unable to use their landline for assistance as this didn’t work! Through the internet we sourced another hotel and the staff refused to order us a taxi and were speaking in Indian laughing at us. I have NEVER been so humiliated. With the staff fighting we were nervous and thank god we had no children with us! This place should be struck off any recommendations. We have since been refunded and compensated.
