We travelled as a group of four couples from Hyderabad to Guwahati. We stayed for two days in the hotel.Rooms were neat. Response from the reception was good. The hotel is just adjacent a flyover, across which is a South Indian vegetarian restaurant, Woodlands. We went for our breakfast and meals to this restaurant, which was also very good. On the whole, a comfortable stay.

Hotel President (OYO 4793) is centrally located. Everything is within easy reach. Very Clean, the boys were prompt and polite; the food, sumptuous yet wholesome. I would have given 5 stars, but the suite that I was staying did not have a mini-fridge. I had to go all the way down to the kitchen.

We stayed for a day in this Hotel from 4th Dec to 5th Dec 2018. We have been total 3 Adults, myself, my spouse and my mother. We had planned a visit to Mata Kamakhya Temple on 4th December, the trip was planned from New Delhi to Guwahati via Airway, and so got this hotel pre-booked through Oyo. Once we reached the Guwahati Airport on 4th Dec, at approx 1100 Hrs, afterwards we booked Uber Cab at the Airport which took us from Guwahati Airport to Hotel President at Pan Bazaar (Total Fare was approx Rs 400). After reaching the Hotel, we checked into Room which was of decent size. Just to mention, this Hotel does not have standard 3-bed Room arrangement, but they add additional bed, if required. The Room size is decent and can easily accommodate additional bed apart from standard 2-bed occupancy. This Hotel has an in-house Restaurant which serves decent food and it tastes great. I recommend, while checking in or pre-booking, do opt for complimentary breakfast scheme. The Hotel location is great, and since you are in centre of the city, so commutation to all the tourist spots is always endearing from this hotel. The Food quality is good and hotel staff is courteous. While travelling across the city tourist spots, one can opt for Uber cab services, which is widely available and economical too.

This is a good hotel for business purpose travel stay. With all amenities it serves all requirements. Very close to railway station and major market area are the bonus points to this place. Complimentary breakfast is also good. But this place needs to be upgraded with modern amenities.
