Happened to stay here unexpectedly. Situated right in the heart of the city in Lakdi-ka-pul, this has all modes of transport nearby. Rooms are decent and well maintained. Bar was about ok , can improve on the offers though. Food was just about ok. Service was good.
The most absurd thing i have ever heard..... Will not provide cutlery unless u order food

Well...... This has got be the highlight of this hotel..... will not provide plate and spoon till you dont order food..... Have travelled extensively around the world and this is the first of its kind policy a hospitality sector can have..... am glad they didnt say we wont provide you a glass unless u dont order water to drink.....
Over just an average hotel... Room facing the road are extremely noisy all through out the night... fells like your sleeping in middle of a junction...charging point have 3 of which two are non functional.... They dont seem to have a policy that amenities need to work but have a policy for cutlery....
Will not recommend this hotel for the traffic and experience.... They need to seriously revisit their management policies especially in current COVID times.
A sad experience...... to say the least......

I booked this hotel for 3 nights for 3 people, but when we arrived at the hotel they provided one double bed for 2 people and they asked more money for the 3rd person staying in the same room, an additional bed for Rs.1000 and the bed was very smelly and not comfortable at all, lots of noise an the floor due to construction still going on at 2am, and staff were not helpful. The morning reception staff (lady) was rude.

We booked this hotel for 3 nights, the room was terrible, very noisy even though our room was located on the back side. We could still hear the traffic noise, renovation still going on at 2:00 am, the bedsheets, pillow cases and the blankets were very smelly. The shower was broken, the tiles and the walls were leaking. The room doors shut very loudly, this will also keep you awake at night time.
The front desk staff were very rude and not helpful at all, they will not even greet you when you walk by the front desk. The wifi was not working, when we complained about the wifi, the staff didn’t care. They stated that the problem is from the outside. The morning manager and the old security at the front entrance were excellent. That’s the only positive experience we had. The front desk lady that works in the morning shift was very rude, and had poor social and communication skills.
We will not recommend this hotel to anyone, find another hotel in the neighbour hood.
If we get a free stay at this hotel, we will NEVER come back to this hotel again.

Whenever you think about your stay, you always remember either your good experience or bad. In Hampshire's case it unfortunately falls on the bad side. I have booked my stay for 4 days thinking I will roam around the city with my wife and kid. I have checked in the place on 1st day and they have allocated a room which was having 2 beds separately when asked about a single king/queen side bed they said sir please manage today as there is no rooms available now so tomorrow we will change. Anyhow I have managed that day as we have a kid age 4 years, he struggled all night as there was a distance between two beds and that was really uncomfortable for him to sleep. 2nd day as they have promised to give new room so we came back from our tour and requested them to change my room. All of the sudden they started saying that sir we don't have any other rooms available now which has double bed and that was a very challenging situation for me as I didn't want my kid to suffer again. After 10mins of heated discussion, they said they are checking and believe me it was available. I don't understand when there is a room available why they were not giving us before (no clue to this by the way). Finally they have allocated the room which was okay ish with only 1 towel, no buckets, broken AC duct etc. but I was happy as my kid will not be facing any issues. Now comes the 2nd part where we have booked MAP plan which included stay+ breakfast and either lunch or dinner so we were under the impression that kid's milk can be accommodated in the same plan (we stayed in other 4 & 5 star hotels and it was included) but they started saying it is chargeable after 1 filling. That was another setback for me. 3rd issue was while I was checking out and they said kettle in my room is not working, I was like okay I didn't even use it for once also. All these things have made my experience really bad. This was not expected with the place like Hampshire considering it is 4 rated hotel. Only one good thing with hotel was a person called Ram in reception who has helped us in allocating alternate room while other staff was against that.
The overall experience was not good with the place so highly disappointed with the services. Being in hospitality industry where competition is so huge they should give some respect to their customer. All the best to Hampshire for their future but I am certainly not recommending this to anyone else in future.
