Thank you, Hotel Nest, for hospitaly. For one week we felt here like at home. Amazing home made omlet for breakfast, operative rooms service, helpful, friendly and attentive staff, comfortable location, air conditioned rooms, hot shower... Recommended for travelers in Kolkata.

Neat Rooms & Good Services given by staff, Rooms Interior are good Location is very good near by Quest mall all good Veg and Nonveg restaurant are very near by just walking distance.... only disadvantage Is all Rooms are in First floor, Location why it is very good it is best for business and Family traveller..

This place has an overall very friendly staff right from the owner Mr. Jha to the security. However the staff( there seemed to be just three of them) are overworked and hence the frustration shows up at times. Breakfast is available only around 9.00 am. Food order takes very long (around one hour minimum) to get delivered, since they are dependent on an outside kitchen. The friendly nature of the staff and the location makes up for it to some extent, but does leave a bad taste in the end. The rooms are clean and spacious. One needs to order well in advance even for water as all items are under lock and key and available only when the owner is in the premises.

Well the people are good, not the hotel. The room we stayed was too tiny. It was on the third floor and there was no lift. So if you have difficulty climbing up 78 stairs(yes I counted) then please avoid rooms 301 and 302. I do not know about other rooms, so I cannot comment on them.

The location of the Hotel Nest International is definitely great. It is in Park Circus, near a new shopping mall and a traditional Bazaar. Rooms are clean, but tiny. However, I was disappointed to observe their unprofessional management. Before reaching Kolkata I had booked a room (302) for three nights. The sales sent me a room confirmation. It was clearly mentioned there that the net payable would be Indian Rupees 3,864.00. During checking out the owner of the hotel was there and demanded that I must pay Indian Rupees 6,000.00. I had shown him the confirmation letter. He said it did not matter what my staff had sent you. I am the owner and I decide. I was stunned. They also try to push for more expensive rooms, even when there are standard rooms available. I will not recommend this hotel for non-Indian travelers.
