    Nice hotel in budget area..Also owner Mr. Khan is a very helpful minded people. Also it's placed near new market. Interior looking makes difference against Outlooking of building....can enjoy ur moment here

    The hotel is setup in a large heritage building in New Market, Esplanade area. The main problem of this hotel is, the hotel is on 3rd floor but there is no lift. 3rd floor stairs length is equivalent to 4th floor of any normal building. Room and bathroom condition was okay, but bed covers were old and not so clean. The best thing I want to share that they were very cooperative and room service was excellent. The large windows represents the glory of the building in old days. If I go again Kolkata without family I will definitely stay in the hotel once again, cause the stairs are not suitable for kids and women.

    We stayed there for a couple of days The hotel is on third floor of a very old building and the worst part is they don't have a lift. Rooms are pretty small and breakfast there is limited. But the staff's are good. If you are in a shopping mood then this hotel is beautifully located

    I stayed for one day and booked through cleartrip. The hotel is in 3rd floor with no lift. No once came to collect luggage. Over the phone they gave me wrong information that the hotel is 10 minutes drive from Dakshineshwari Kali temple. The room was in very bad condition. They do not have proper invoicing system in case you are staying for business trip. The TV clarity was very poor and AC was not working. room was full of insects and lot of cockroaches. Even complaining also there is no solution. Staff were arrogant and not polite. Overall terrible experience. I am sure that the good and excellent reviews are paid ones or they have not seen good hotels in their life.

    There are two Best Inns in Kolkata and I ended up downmarketing the other nice one. This is the third try at reviewing this place on tripadvisor. The other first too were refused for violating tripadvisor review rules. A more critical review may be found at other review websites that allow unfettered reviews and which are presumably not under the huge stick. So this place is a lovely adventure into mycology, INteresting mold species live with you in the room. If I knew I was to breathe in musty mildew when we lived there for the 6 hours that we did, we could have paid more. For what you get, the amount paid for the room is a paltry sum. May I suggest that you bring a compound microscope while you scour the place for exotic mold species.
