Private great location and peaceful We were looking for a place with a pool and came accross Honeywood. Very inviting photos and we were happy that the pool was very well maintained with a gorgeous surrounding. Rooms were large. We were a group of 4 families and took 1 villa and 2 forest chalets. The forest chalets are close to the pool and have a lovely view. The villa was large with 2 rooms and a hall dinning. So if you have kids and want some well deserved privacy during your holiday then the villa is appropriate as the kids can spend time watching TV in the hall and even sleep there. The staff provided us with extra beds there. We enjoyed the pool and the Barbeque in the evening. Value money.. Must visit

As an old guest at HONEYWOOD I had to post this review. As usual the hospitality is at a different level, extremely personal and homely. The food is mouth watering ( pls feel free to give personal instructions while placing your order). Staff is very helpful. And the newest addition the fantastic swimming pool with an infinity edge that over looks the forest. The pool is has a sweet picket fence all around it so is very safe for the kids. There is a beautiful tree cover as well so the kids can swim during the peak of the afternoon. ( 2 pm to 4 pm is quiet time) which was a pleasant surprise for my kids who thoroughly enjoyed themselves. it’s a visual and obvious that the owners are making improvements by leaps and bounds at HoneyWood please do keep it up we will certainly be back.

Honeywood is the place to be. Beautiful and calm. Our fur baby enjoyed and was really excited about the place. Booked a villa and every time someone knocked the door he wait to slip out and enjoy. Food was really nice, tasty and hot. We had a great time. Booking, order for meals everything was seamless.

Returned from a 3 night stay at Honeywood, our 3rd visit and place has maintained its standard despite difficulties of last 18 months of disruptions of Pandemic. Its our favourite as they are always ready to welcome our three 4 legged kids! Nice suites of 2 bedroom, each with attached bath, plus attached large dinning sitting space is very convenient for our full family. Food quality is very good and always freshly prepared for you, though you need to order 2 hours in advance.

This property is one of the few remaining that maintains the charm of old style Mahabaleshwar. We had a room with a balcony and a forest view. Meals are made to order and the portions are generous. Lovely omelettes, biryani and barbecue. A very laid-back and tranquil experience. Did not have air-conditioning, so may not be ideal in the summer months-they do have pedestal fans. It is located in Old Mahabaleshwar and the quiet roads make it ideal for long walks. Avoiding wet bathrooms and better linen would be my suggestions.
