Nirvana Eco & Agro Resort

A beautiful location away from the commercial hustle and crowd of the tourist areas. The staff are very nice and the food is excellant. Its a great place for children and has plenty of activities for children. Equiped with a zip line, infinity pool, and a great play area.

A wonderful resort right in the middle of the nature !! Must visit for any kind of group : family, friends and for all ages : kids as well as elderly people ! .. We visited Nirvana resort last weekend on the occasion of 70th Birthday of my dad... The resort was chosen by positive reviews of my very close relative who had already visited here !... I must say, the resort did perfect justice to make this occasion memorable for all of us !! .. Excellent location, excellent hospitality by local staff as well as manager : Toshiba and last but not the last thorough guidance and assistance by Mr. Sagar from Eease Hospitality Management... I requested for suggestions on type of rooms to be booked, order a special seasonal fresh strawberry cake and finally actual meeting and greeting at the resort, Sagar was thoroughly professional.. Resort has some uniquely designed, beautiful and well maintained deluxe cottages, very unique A-frame cottages.. We loved both ! ... Food was just awesome !.. Tried all different variety from Maharashtrian food, Sizzlers, Chinese as well as deserts and all was top notch.. Everything and everyone at the resort gives a very comforting, lavish but at the same time personal feel ! ... Location is also very scenic and slightly away from the rush of Mahabaleshwar and Panchagani.. Approach road is decent.. Kids activities like Swimming Pool, Adventure park, play area and zipline all added to the fun !... Karaoke at the of the dinner was also nice ! All in all : A memorable stay perfect for the occasion ! We will surely visit here again !!

A beautiful property located in midst of nature away from the crowd. Property is well maintained and located between hills overlooking a valley. Staff is very helpful and courteous. We stayed in A frame room in lower deck. It’s very spacious overlooking the swimming pool and valley. The best located rooms in property. The best part of property is that they are pet friendly and you can visit with your fur babies. Food was good. They use farm fresh produce. The breakfast options were limited which can be improved upon. Resort has an infinity pool, kids play area, adventure activity and zip lining. They have a trekking guide who takes you to a small trek in nearby hill and a sunset point at walking distance. He also took us to a private strawberry farm who was kind enough to host us. Overall a great experience and great place to relax.

Service - 5/5 Comfort - 5/5 Location - 5/5 We recently visited this resort for a two night stay and had a wonderful experience. The property is nested between hills, away from the hustle and bustle of Mahabaleshwar. It is situated between Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar, on the Bhilar road, 10 kn off Bhouse Khind. It is a must visit if you are looking for different kind of experience. Food quality is very good. Property offers adventure activities like zipline, obstacle climbing as well as star gazing. You need a private vehicle to reach there. We stayed there at the Jodhpuri tent which was quite comfortable. We also went to a nearby hillock for excellent view of the setting sun behind the hills and strawberry picking at a private farm (local family was kind enough to let us into the farm).

Good place for weekend getaway especially with children under 10 years. But the special holiday was spoilt by mismanagement and don’t care attitude towards guest requests. Too many managers, everyone trying to manage everything, creating confusion with no action and bad experience for guests. If you have special dietary restrictions like no spice - please be away from this place to have peaceful holiday. I was told this place is owned by some senior bureaucrat (IAS officer). Which is a surprise given the state of mismanagement at his own place. ——- Detailed review Location: Nirvana is located away 25 minutes from Panchgani. Away from all the crowd. It is the only property in that area. Middle of nowhere. So if you are looking for an escape it might be a good place. The only downside is that if you are not satisfied with food or service you cannot go anywhere else for dinner. Closest decent restaurant might be 45 minutes away. But then traveling on unlit single lane road with barren land around might be problematic. Children activities: Nirvana offer many activities for children under 10. Play area, adventure sports area, zip lining, swimming (if you can brave the cold), hiking, mini farm visit, bon fire etc.. Ganesh who conducts zip lining and hiking was great with children and guests. It was one of the highlights of our stay along with Strawberry picking at their mini farm. Food: It was a mixed bag. Had issues with every meal. This is even after confirming if they could cater to non spicy food requirement for my 7 year old before booking this place. This was our major requirement and they were all affirmative at the time of booking. But every single meal had problem. This was even after pre booking meals and giving repeated requests on 0 spice. If it happens once it might have been ok to ignore. But what is the use of empty apologies and not taking corrective action. How can 0 spice food have 10-15 pieces of chilies in one person’s serving. While taste was generally good but many people had issues. Table next to me complained on how simple sandwich is not the same as the one ordered a day before. Mongolian rice was dry with no vegetables. Just taking back and canceling the food from bill doesn’t make it up for lousy experience. Especially when there is no other food option near by. 4 people telling food is ready but when you go to the dining area, the table is not set. No paper napkin, water, glasses etc.. overall crappy dining experience. Service: Service was bad. It’s not that people are not hardworking but there is no proper management. People actually working do what they are told but people managing them are currently incapable of handling full house. There are 4-5 managers who try to manage everything with no proper ownership between them. One person tells the other who tells to the 3rd person and eventually when the message reaches the actual worker, it is completely distorted. Why take full house booking when you cannot handle? Why you need 3 people to come to each room to take dinner order if you are running short on resources. One person to carry menu, other to talk to guest and 3rd to accompany other two. Leaving front desk empty. The only person who gave decent service was the captain. He just joined the team on the day we checked-in. I understand he came from Mumbai after having worked at many hotels and restaurant before. You can clearly see the difference between his handling of guests vs the other people. So when they tell that property is owned by senior bureaucrat (IAS officer). Either you accept the shocker with current state of service at the hotel or you get the answer to the reasons behind the sorry state of dealing with government agencies. Overall our family holiday and birthday plans was completely spoilt by these people. You don’t want staff to say or customers to hear “please come on weekdays and not on weekend to get Nirvana experience”. Room: We stayed in their Premium suite. It is newly built room and their most expensive one. Limited decor was decent but layout was just bad. Bathroom was spacious but did not have bath tub. It feels like a 2 bedroom cottage was divided into 3 rooms. (2 premium suite and executive room). It was called suite because it had plates and bowls and separate kitchen sink. No microwave, no fridge, no cutlery, no kitchen towel. nothing. avoid. avoid. Rather go for deluxe cottage. You have your privacy. Not sharing walls. In conclusion - If service was better, consistency in food and heed to customers requests. This place has potential of being a great family resort.
