The Resort Mumbai

Had a wonderful time at The Resort. All staff, reception, restaurant, and maintenance are friendly and helpful. Especially the food is delicious. Thanks to the chef Amit who personally approach every guest and politely ask for feedback. Veg. Non-Veg. Both food items are superb. Cheery on the cake is the surprise birthday cake for my daughter.

Lovely place, ambience, food, staff. Most peaceful place with very loving and affectionate manager (Osden). We would love to visit the place more often and every time we visit we fall in love with place and people again creating lovely memories. Thank you for the team especially Osden Rodriguez... You made our day

I stayed at The Resort for a couple of nights this month. Our room overlooked the garden. The property is beautiful facing Aksa Beach. Upon our arrival, we were very impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff at the Front Desk. Check-in was swift and hassle-free. Ms. Taniksha-Guest Relations Officer, deserves a special mention, as she greeted us with a nice smile as we entered the hall to watch a movie on Mr. Bean. She took pains to arrange for two generous servings of chips at our table. This was indeed a nice and heartwarming gesture. She also reminded us to join the karaoke session the next day. She has a pleasant nature and is a very helpful and charming person. Ms Taniksha's exemplary professionalism deserves my praise and thanks. I hope those in the hospitality industry of India would learn from her about offering such "Service from the Heart"! Thanks to Ms. Aditi too for the warm welcome & arranging a complimentary fruit platter. I would rate this hotel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stayed here in October and had bitter experience but this time in December had a wonderful time with excellent sea view and garden facing room with big balcony. Room was excellent. Luckily their was no film shoot and neither any weddings in the premises ( they can spoil the peaceful atmosphere of our stay ) Special thanks to IMRAN who made our stay v pleasant and memorable.

One of the original beach side Hotel of Mumbai. Iconic in many ways. Visited by whose who of Mumbai from years. Has a lot to live upto other than just the reputation. Needs to pull up their socks. The view is too good. It's well placed on the beach. Higher floors have a view u won't get it anywhere else. The whole beach front is evident. Sitting in the balcony away from the daily dint is what u will come for in this place. Needless to say the opposite side rooms are not to be had. Rooms are well designed except for the toilets which are a bit congested. Housekeeping does maintain it well. Toiletries need to be demanded, linen is clean and nice. Activities are bare minimum, most of the rooms are nearly always occupied by corporate events. Walk on the beach is what you have come from. The biggest bane is the food. It's plain....rather sad. Variety is modest, taste wise too It's better to pack your tiffin and bring. The buffet...especially the breakfast is lame, repeated daily and quality is really bad. So is the in house dining. Food is prepared in a mediocre manner, lacks imagination and even quality. The Bar has restrictions too. Only 5 types of beer which gets exhausted on weekends!! Zomato delivery would be ideal. The room service is very courteous and prompt and will cater to ur fancy all through the night. The hotel has a lot of potentials but it seems to be relying on its past laurels. That it may just .....people are desperate in Mumbai to have just a bit of relaxation wherever and however.....
