Hotel ameya a value for money , resided in dadar from where you can reach every point of the city , great place and service. I was there for business purpose so it was easy to meet people from western side as well as central side.

The saffron flag atop the Sena Bhavan fluttering strongly in the breeze provided a vibrant contrast against the bluish white of the sky. As we looked out from the wall-to-wall window, the only one in the room, the fluttering flag provided a sort of assurance that all was right in Mumbai city! Perhaps this in itself went a long way in making me like Hotel Ameya. I had a lot of apprehension when I had booked the hotel on the net. Although reviews of my fellow travellers mentioned the facts that this was a budget hotel that provided a good value for money and that it's biggest USP was its location in the heart of the city, it did little to allay my main fear. I was on a holiday with my family and needed a hotel room with a view in Dadar West area. Unlike business travellers I would have time to spend and what better way to utilize one's time on a holiday than sitting before the window of the hotel room and watching the outside world move on. One can gauge so much about the character of the place by watching the outside from the window of the hotel room. And so I sat and watched Dadar breathe with life. I Watched the saffron flag fluttering in the breeze, watched life unfold slowly, unhurriedly, riding the hands of the clock-the taxi driver sipping a cup of tea, an early morning walker, workmen trooping in singles and pairs to the underground metro work construction before getting down to work, in typical Indian way, without proper safety appliances of course. Thanks so much to Ameya for allotting us room 202, a room with a wonderful view to the outside. The other reviews have already touched about the other USPs of Hotel Ameya and so I would just like to simply gloss over them. Yes, it's location is perhaps the best part of Ameya. And the people who work at Ameya are its most important assets. Right from the time we stepped in, they ensured that our demands were met, always with a smile. Their courtesy, even when it meant waking up at odd hours to go looking for a taxi for us in pouring Mumbai rains, was praiseworthy! Our stay in Ameya was a pure delight. To have found a hotel that ticked off all the boxes that we had erected, made us feel elated and that is why I wish to pay this modest little hotel such a glowing tribute!

Small little cozy hotel, with clean rooms and very friendly staff. There is parking also. No attached restaurant to this hotel but they do serve tea/coffee and sandwiches. Its located so cinviniently that frankly you don't need any restaurant attachment.

Hotel ameya is located near Shiv Sena bhavan. The rooms are pretty average, with average facilities. Swimming pool is not there and rates are on the higher side. But no good hotel nearby Shiv Sena bhavan.

I was here first in 2005 and then again in 2015 .I was really disappointed with the quality of rooms ,They also took full advance payment before booking the room online so we could not shift . The rooms are small and the place is dingy . They offer breakfast which is invariably Poha ,Upma and bread toast or omlettes .I stayed there for 3 days and that's all I got .
