Great little boutique hotel

What a lovely find, we stayed for 1 night recently, arriving early evening so when we opened the blinds in the morning to the sun rising over the sea it was an amazing view. Yes the rooms are small, but very well appointed with a clean and spacious shower.
We had dinner up on the roof top and it was the best food we'd had whilst we had been in India. The service was also great.
Breakfast was a little basic but fine for what we needed.
When you arrive you do think it looks a shabby hotel, but once you go up to the third floor, you find a little gem.
Thank you for all of the help printing our boarding passes etc.
What a Great Find!

We stayed at this absolute gem of a hotel for 4 glorious nights, and my only regret is we didn't stay longer. We booked a sea facing room (#301) and the view was sensational. The boutique hotel occupies the 3rd level of a lovely old building and has been renovated superbly.
Our room was beautifully appointed with everything we could need: plenty of storage, safe, TV, fast WiFi, tea making facilities and a luxurious bathroom. There wasn't a hairdryer, although I'm sure you could ask for one, but I opted to stand on the juliette balcony in the sunshine.
Breakfast was served upstairs at their rooftop restaurant (again with cracking views). Service was a bit slow and the range on offer wasn't very expansive, but the freshly made omelettes were a good start to the day. The location of the accommodation is unsurpassable: obviously directly opposite the harbour with Gateway to India and Taj Mahal Palace Hotel a mere stone's throw away. You get front row position to view awesome sunrises each morning and you're walkable to loads of eateries and sights.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mumbai, and I hope to get back there again one day.

This hotel is such a hidden gem! Nestled above another - slightly less attractive hotel- this boutique is a quiet , quaint retreat situated right on the waterfront in Colaba.
You could not be in a better position for seeing the sights of Mumbai from this hotel. You’re two minutes from the gateway to India & Taj Mahal palace hotel. Colaba market is a stones throw away as well as the sassoon docks.
The art, food , history & cultural delights of Mumbai are literally all so close for a non stop mini break in this city!
The inclusive breakfast is lovely & served in there rooftop restaurant. This turns into there bar at night which is perfect for a beer & snack overlooking the water front. Locals eat here - not just guests of the hotel !
The rooms are unbelievably quiet despite the hustle and bustle below.
Cleanliness is faultless & the beds are super comfortable.
All staff were very helpful and room service or requests such as replenished water were always answered immediately.
Coming back to this hotel every evening was a haven after a busy day seeing the sights. My husband and I absolutely loved it.
The staff will also help you with private car or Uber services to the airport if needs be.
Brilliant - would love to stay here again!
Nice traditional hotel.

Positives:
Staff friendly and helpful.
Room was clean
Rooftop bar and restaurant.
Great views overlooking the harbour.
Within walking distance to Gateway of India
Negatives:
Very noisy at night due to possible wedding functions being held at a venue across the road.
Lift antiquated and tiny.
Bed too hard for me!
Limited choice of buffet breakfast.
Dinner and lunch is a La carte.
Verdict:
Pleasant stay but probably wouldn't return due to the noise levels.
A bizarre experience with a great view.

This is actually situated in a multi-purpose building with the Strand Hotel on the first two floors; a private residence on the 3rd floor and Noddy's Guest House on the roof - I expected to hear Slade playing. Our room had the promised Harbour View but you couldn't swing a cat in it, never mind open a suitcase. Good bathroom and room Service. Awful breakfast, though a reasonable omelette. Well situated for the main attractions and restaurants.
