Dream Catcher Plantation Resort and Tree House

We visited Dream catcher plantation resort munnar and had the most memorable experience. The courtesy extended by the manager Mr.manoj made us feel at home during our stay. The nature walk and ride experience was wonderful. All in all a wonderful stay! would like to come again..beautiful place..would surely recommend to others..enjoyed very much

We enjoyed completely the tree house was comfortable. Food was awesome and arrangement for candle light dinner was too good. Staff at the resort was friendly and caring Mr. Basil and team gave a good service Mr. Aravind gave us good polaris drive experience over all we enjoyed completely

First of all, there was some re-work of interiors happening at the main block. When we checked-in we gave benefit of the doubt saying it is not an issue, but the work was going upto 9-9.30 in the night. Anyone with the sane mind in the management would have stopped the work giving their visitors silence at least after 7 - no. that's not the case here. we had to ask them multiple times to stop the work. We booked a tree house and a "Superior" Room. First about superior room, there is nothing superior about it, if you don't have the budget to book a tree house, don't book this hotel at all. We payed 8k for the "Superior" room, which we couldn't spend the day time because the noise pollusion. I wouldn't give anything above 2k for this room. About tree hosue, this is the best part of the hotel. Views are great, and the construction is good. But maintenance and cleanliness is what tree house is lacking. I payed 19k for this, I would say doesn't worth anything more than 6k-8k at the current quality. If they are taking care of cleanliness, it is worth upto 10k. But nothing more than that. Towels had stains, bedsheet was torn, mattress were not hotel level quality. Because of contruction going on around the pool, the water throughout our stay was dirty with dust. There was even a situation where water wasn't available for the entire afternoon-evening and hotel staff lying saying that water would come in 5 mins, for several hours. One good thing about the hotel is food. We enjoyed almost all items we ordered.

Their marketing and public information makes you think its an upmarket resort, including their pricing. However once you reach there you realize its an average place. Their booking team inexperienced and rude and the service is below average. If not for the hype and pricing, some good things are the treehouse, off-road and horse rides

We wont ever suggest this resort to anyone.. as the 1st floor balcony room was terrible without even proper bathroom doors. we never opt for this resort for anyone. also they are not properly maintaining rooms and property. They will collect the whole amount once we checkin and if any problems comein they talk useless. please dont choose this resort as we have multiple super other options available in munnar. also i strongly trust that these guys gave money to others to add good reviews in google.
