Nestled in the western ghats, this is a cozy little place. The rooms are clean, food is good and fresh, the host and the kids are very warm and welcoming, a must visit place and I must say will go back. They provide jeep ride to the summit of Munnar. Strong wifi for a perfect workcation. The place has pets to keep you entertained!!

Great hospitality from Joshy and his family. They served tasty food at reasonable prices. Joshy is really helpful in providing and organizing activities. He took us on an amazing hike. All activities organized by him had been conducted by friends or family of his. We would definitely again!

Our stay was lovely. Joshy and his family is so nice. We got a introduction tour to the village with the kids and Joshy showed us around in the area with his Jeep. The food was home cooked and delicious. The rooms were tidy and we got fresh water every day. The area is super nice at this time and you can see all kinds of local farming. The river down is beautiful to take a swim. Thank you for everything.

I had a wonderful time at Joshy’s place and I strongly recommend it. Joshy’s place is an ideal place to spend few days or more in Munnar. The place is hidden in a beautiful and quiet village near Munnar’s centre, and it is very close to most tracks and attractions in the area. The rooms are very nice, spotlessly clean, and you are provided with basic amenities such as soap, toilet papers (yep, you’re not always provided with these in India), and even toothpaste etc. The homestay has its own private garden with few tables, swings and a little pond, which is great place to relax or have your dinner after a long day trekking and exploring. Joshy and his wife offer home cooked meals at a very reasonable charge, and I must say the meals I had were one of the highlights of my stay in Munnar and one of the best I had in Kerela- I highly recommend for anyone who stays here to try them. Joshy and his lovely family were very welcoming and friendly, on my first day his son was kind enough to take me for a walk around the village, which was really nice, and Joshy gave me so many tips about the area and helped me organise the activities I wanted to do there, and at the end of my stay he was kind enough to give me a left to the bus stop. Joshy also set me up with a trekking guide who’s name is Ajith and he took me trekking around the area as well as tea and spice plantations. Ajith is a super knowledgeable and extremely friendly guide, he really knows the best spots around the tracks, and he scheduled our trekking tour perfectly so we had time to go to the Tea museum, and Kathakali and Kalaripayattu shows. I’d definitely go back to Joshy’s place whenever I’m in Munnar.
