Ginger Mysore

Location of the hotel is great for what we wanted to do. Hotel restaurant food is good and service is great. And stay also good here everything is safety and security. Specially thanks to reception girl to Leesha sethi she is helplful and polite behavior thank you making my stay conformable

Hotel Ginger was like a homely stay for me. I will always remember the days during the stay.Especially the tasty food of restaurant and it was just like homely food.stay also same like I was in home.that much friendly behaviour of the staff members.Ashiya and shekar.Guruprasad,shivkumar,hussain Ahmed,Balasubramanyam and chef arjun. Robinson who has arranged all the facilities for the stay.He is also friendly behaviour.

Hotel ginger was a good experience in my travel life.i used to travel state by state.I have stayed so many hotels.But apart from all, ginger has given me a different experience. Mostly because of the behaviour and friendly approach of the staffs. Special thanks to Mr.Robinson.He arranged the room for us . Front office staffs Ashiya and shekar was very friendly. The restaurant also very good. especially taste of the dishes was great (Thanks to the shef mr. Neeraj Singh). Restaurant staffs Shivakumar,Guruprasad and Somnath was very helpful . Room also clean and neat. Overall excellent hotel with neat and nature friendly atmosphere.

Location of hotel is great for what we wanted to do (visit zoo). But I realized that traffic is not that bad and we should have stayed somewhere else! Check-in experience was good. Even though limited options, Hotel restaurant food is good and service is great. In general most of the staff including security are great. Rooms are ok but the bathrooms are not that great, some uneven flooring and waterlogging was happening. Hot water in the evening is not hot enough, don't know why! Morning time we could get hot water. Beds are good and we got a very good sleep. Next door seems to be a wedding venue, luckily when we were there wedding is complete and songs stopped by evening. Not sure how it will be if there is a wedding overnight! Breakfast is good enough. But there was a lot of confusion and I was asked to pay for one kid's breakfast. I was asked to show my hotel booking and prove that my booking includes Breakfast. This is quite irritating because I made the booking on Ginger website. If they can't cross-check booking on their own website then something is really wrong. The attitude of the front desk staff (one lady) during this whole episode is very bad, she is not even willing to check what is there in the booking. She is like I am guilty until I prove otherwise. Funny thing is that I got an email asking for my feedback on the stay. Link provided in that email doesn't even open. This shows how serious Ginger group is about feedback :) I won't stay again!

If you plan to stay in this hotel be ready to pay for everything. The stay in this hotel turns out to be an expensive stay for nothing. Everything in this hotel is chargeable even a dental kit which is basic, early or late checkin even if you are checkin 30 mins early you have to pay for it. Room and bed is also too small for 2 people to fit in properly. the lights in the room are not sufficient. In my case even the bathroom is not good, wash basin tap is leaking, complaint about that but no response, the lights were flickering a lot again no response about it. Even if you ask for a bucket and mug you have to pay for that.
