Hotel Ashoka Palace

Ashoka hotel is one of the best budget hotels in New Delhi. stay was awesome for me. room was great with all basic amenities. service was fast and very good. the restaurant served some of the nicest delicacies.

The staff really made it special for us. As we we were newly wed couple they surprised us with a small cake celeberations too. The hotel is very good value for your money and for those guest who have work / business in south Delhi area of Vasant Vihar, Vasant Kunj, Embassies or RK Puram as passport office is also close by in Bikaji cama Place. It is close to the Delhi IGI airport say 20 to 30 minutes. Readers to note that IGI has three terminals. T-1 is closest to the hotel.

I reached at 11.30 pm and check in was very quick .room was nice and clean. Breakfast spread was huge . service is good. Lunch food items we're nice and taste was great. Hotel is very big and green area is nice.location is best. Centre of New Delhi.

Two of my friends and I stayed here after a golden triangle tour. We looked online and saw good TripAdvisor reviews, so we thought this would be a nice place to stay. We reserved the hotel online. I got a text from someone at the hotel saying our spot was reserved, and I liked being contacted for that. Then I got a text saying we would be staying at Hotel Eagle International instead. I asked for the address and he said it’s around the corner from Ashoka Palace, and then sent me a pin on the map. We had a lot of problems trying to find it, and it was late at night. The pin took us to Hotel Eagle Eye, and we went inside to ask where our hotel was. They couldn’t understand us, so I called the guy who texted me. He said Hotel Eagle Eye was the same hotel as Hotel Eagle International, even though it was not. I felt scammed like I signed up to stay at a nice hotel and then got the run around and ended up there. We got to the room and it was the worst hotel room I’ve ever been in. It was incredibly run down. The toilet was broken and the floor flooded. There was hair and stains all over the bed. We did not need to stay somewhere nice, but this was unacceptable. We ended up complaining and going to Ashoka Palace. It was better but still not nice. The bed seemed clean, but it’s nothing like what is expected from the website. No shower or anything. The door was really challenging to lock. Overall it was not a nice room whatsoever, but it was late and we were okay staying there. They told us the ride to the airport was free initially, and then really gave us a hassle about it saying we had to pay. Would not recommend for anyone to stay here.
