Hotel De Park

i was visiting shimla for the very first time with my friends and I wanted to make best out of it. So, we checked in to this place for 4 nights with 4 rooms. Shimla has always been in the list of my favorite destinations and so has this property become after a soothing stay. They offered us extra beddings too so that we could accommodate more easily. This place is not far away from railway station and is situated between mountains giving a perfect view. The place is pretty big and decent with spacious rooms. We opted for luxury rooms and we were provided with free wi-fi which was working properly and 24/7 service. The washrooms were clean and the bedsheets were clean too. The staff was very friendly and polite and ready to guide us with all the things we could do in Shimla. Dinner was palatable and nice. We were guided by them about where to go and what to see in Shimla. The staff is helpful and was very efficient. Overall, the view, food, rooms, pricing, everything was perfect. Am just in love with this hotel . Truly mesmerising, defination of a perfect hotel. Will love to visit here again .

In the perfect pictursque location of Shimla. Me and friends visited there on last weekend and booked a room in this hotel. Intirior of room was very nice. Room did not have much cost and was good in size. Service wise staffs was of good nature and provided extra bed also. View from the room was great too. This is a 2 star hotel in Shimla and quite big. Also The rooms have a traditional theme instead of modern one and is very beautiful. The great thing is that the window room have some of the best seens to capture. The valley and the forests looks like paradise. Especially in this month of year it was all white. Snow fall view from the room was a thing of beauty. The bathrooms are clean, perfect and other amenities such as TV, AC, wifi are just perfect. Also, it is roadside so you won't get much view of nature but still the service is very good. Amazing food and amazing service is given by them. Even had my dinner here which can give a homemade like feel and taste to anybody. . I recommend this hotel and will love to visit soon again.

visited shimla last week...with my family and it was such a wonderful experience over there. Amazing Nature view from the hotel rooms. A very memorable holiday in Shimla because of De Park Hotel. Excellent view, outstanding interior, luxury rooms. Everything was perfect.. Super supportive staff.. Food quality is very gud. Overall value for money, Always recommended…… Rooms are good neat and Clean, hygiene level is maintained in the hotel.  Excellent room service.. Wonderful experience.. hotel staff doesn't know "No" word…You will always hear yes to all of your requests…The staff helped us for booking transportation for me and my family. The rooms were shining, View was perfect and the hotel looks stunning at night. Everything was so comfortable here. The hotel is nearby to railway, bus station and airport and town area. They also have a multi Cusine restaurant. Would definitely prefer hotel de park for my next trip to Shimla…

We were group of Three families stayed at this hotel between 25-28 January 2019(chk-out on 28). Our Room No was 202, 203, 204. My Review about this hotel is as below.. Location: Quite Away from Mall road of Shimla. But that will be no issue if you have vehicle with you and you don't like crowded jammed roads as with hotels near mall road. This hotel is right on the side of Shimla- Kalka Road with decent space in Hotel's circulating area. Parking: Adequate parking facility for vehicles. We were with Force Tempo traveller and the vehicle was properly parked with basic amenities for driver provided by Hotel. Rooms: The rooms were quite spacious and reasonably furnished. The window was wide and had very good view of valley side. Service: Service at this hotel is pathetic. The staff appeared neither trained nor motivated. Having stayed in winter with family, we needed hot drinking water frequently but the staff were not prompt or courteous in providing hot water and I had to call them several times to get one jug of hot water. Similarly, we deposited our room keys at reception for cleaning the rooms while going outside in morning but to our surprise the rooms were not cleaned when we came back in evening. Only after severe complaint, the rooms were half heatedly cleaned in late evening. toiletries were not replenished. Heating in room: Room heater was provided for Rs 300 per day, but the heater was too dirty and reflector corroded/ blackened. Also the heater was grossly inadequate for winter season, rooms were not getting warm enough for comfortable sitting. Over all our stay was not so pleasant but still barring the service and room heater, other aspects of hotel is good enough to give it 3 star. Will hope hotel management will take serious note of training of its staff for being courteous and providing prompt service to its guest round the clock. Also the room heater should be replaced with better heaters/ blowers of adequate wattage may be at higher but reasonable cost,

Horrible. Rooms dirty, uncleaned, professional quality horrible. Bed sheets were not changed. They were changed after hassled. Total unprofessional conduct. Basic amenities were not provided. For every little thing such as toilet roll, towels,soap was big hassale. It is not worth whst I have paid for.
