Loved our stay in Daak Bangla with just the most majestic views of Snow capped Trisul peak and the Kumaon range. Along with insane stars coming out to greet us everyday of our 5 day stay! The owner and the staff are beyond warm and helpful, always with a smile on their face and ready to guide you on your way! Mohit Bhaiya being a nature and star gazing enthusiast himself, will happily bring his telescope to help you see those billion stars up close! Truly a nature retreat, has trails and open spaces where they can set up a picnic with mattress and bonfire for you, while you enjoy the views with your friends. Special shout out to the kitchen crew who cook up amazing Local and national cuisines hot with your preferences intact. You can plan your meals a day in advance with the kitchen staff and do not forget to have their rajma or mutton! Do speak to Mohit Bhaiya for the local delicacies and dessert that they will happily cook up for you! The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. We were in peek winter and got perfectly hot water in the geysers, a nice room heater, thick warm blankets and hot bags to keep ourselves warm! The views from the room are breathtaking! We sat out staring at the majestic Himalayas all day and sat by the bonfires staring at the stars all night. The staff is incredibly warm and even on New Years when the retreat was choc a block, they worked extra time to get us our firewood, food and water dispensers outside the room! Cannot wait to go back in the summers to see the garden orchard in bloom and feel the hospitality of the staff and the healing power of the mountains once again. Recommended highly for mountain and nature lovers to visit this property and find the peace and serenity we did!

Good Food, Clean Rooms, Very Polite & Courteous Staff, Awesome Hospitality - Mohit & staff did every thing with full heart and keeping client satisfaction in mind. Visited with office T.E.A.M, 13 folks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great place to be if you are a group, place is easily accessible by road - an hour drive from Shimla. (please check in advance if you plan to visit during snow time). Bonfire with ambient lighting & the awesome music setup is one of its kind which I haven't experienced in other nature resorts !! Would love to visit again, Thank you Daak Bangla Retreat !!

It is a great place for adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers. Many trails for leisure walk. The cottages are very comfortable and neat and clean. Away from city crowd, in nature's lap, stay in Apple orchad with pleasant sound of birds. Excellent hospitality with excellent Himachally food.
