Hotel Devraj Niwas on Lake Pichola

I just really loved this place. It's located at Lake Pichola Nd the view from their rooftop cafe is just amazing. You will get to see the best view with amazing food and good music. Their rooms are really cute and service is really quick. All the tourist places are also nearby.

We choose this place to have a Lake View from our room but we failed to grab one. Our holiday partner had promised us to book Lake view rooms which were expensive but the rooms actually booked were basic window rooms. Thinks I like:- > Hotel was near to Udaipur City Palace, just 300m away. > Food was good. > The view of Lake Pichola from the terrace was just outstanding. > The service of the food was very quick and the food was delicious as well. > Hotel staff was polite and had information about the surroundings. Things I don't like:- > You have to book an auto or some local vehicle that can take you to the hotel which is actually 1 km away from the place where your own vehicle can go. > We have to spend extra money to go to the hotel every time we are going out or coming in, it was such a headache as we either have the option to pay as per the price the autorickshaw wala asked us to pay or go all the way on foot. > The hotel staff do not provide any service or help with this regard nor do they provide any vehicle. > The food area was a bit smelly at the stair area which was not giving a good feeling at all. > The breakfast was limited and be ordered in a limited quantity which is different from other hotels we have visited during our trip. THE HOTEL IS GOOD FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE STAYING THE WHOLE DAY IN THE HOTEL AND OPTED FOR LAKE VIEW ROOMS AND ALSO DO NOT HAVE ANY ISSUE WALKING 1 Km TO GO TILL THE CENTER OF THE PLACE.

Very nice service and food also good..he managed cooked as per our taste....only one issue in morning is hot water service after full uses of hot water in all room water make cold....all overview good experience and location is good near lake pichola.

Stayed 3 nights, couple and a kid. Pros: Food quality and quantity was nice. Open the window and you see lake pichola ( Caution: please look with head high to get a lake view, lower the head and you will see old tanks with pigeon poops :-) ) The restaurant on roof top provided an awesome view of the lake, Taj Palace, jagamandir and other establishments across lake. Cons: Do not be fooled by the pic of the room, the rooms are not maintained, smelly , pathetic , the bed linen wasn't clean , room service is zero- the intercom is never picked , No almirah to keep your stuff. No bathroom essentials at all, no tea coffee provision( We had to literally call up the MMT staff to escalate to provide us the basic toiletries ) . The washroom was stinking of the toilet smell throughout our stay so a big disadvantage. As you go up the restaurant, a peculiar staunch pee smell will welcome you for a few metres near the kitchen !!!!!( Yes i did tell manager but of no use !). the hotel isn't accessible by car- only autos who charge exorbitant money

Very bad service, Food was also not good.even they cant handle 06 tables at the same time.Bathrooms were skinking very badly . after many complains they were not ready to accept issues.When you enter the hotel ,you can not feel like 3star hotel.Only location is good .
