Hotel Hindusthan International

✍ Pijush Bakshi (Kolkata) writes: Lately on 21 March 2022 we visited Varanasi for four days. We stayed at Hotel Hindusthan International. H H I is a unique Hotel which as a Superior Member of family I appreciate, vis-a-vis it's healthy state of Rooms, stomach friendly food quality, need based helpful service to short-spanned migrated tourists in every respect and dependable travel assistant in and around Varanasi belt. In particular, pleasing gesture of each serving personnel constitutes vital Asset to the Hotel H I. H H I names a stay-safe asylum at old age on tour.

We made reservation in HHI Varanasi in March 2020 but could not make it due to Covid. I was in touch with Mr.Satish Mishra / Mr.Nitesh Singh. At last, we visited last week and they honoured our booking and provided a Delux Room. Stay was comfortable, food was tasty though a bit expensive and hospitality at reception desk was very good. Overall, this is a good hotel for stay in Varanasi and centrally located.

I travelled with my friends to attend a conference and staying at HHI varanasi was the worst experience ever. The rooms were not cleaned even after asking the house keeping for multiple of times. The did not refresh the toiletries and tea kits in rooms. The state of the washroom in room was pathetic. And the hotel staff did not know the basic etiquette of how to communicate with guests. We had to wait for a long time for our luggage to be picked up and delivered to our rooms and they asked for the payment without even checking in their system when the room was prepaid in full. We booked around 30 rooms and they were told to provide us breakfast for our early morning train at first we were given only 8 breakfast packets and to top it off the fruits in the package were stale and everything was very poorly packed. And if you want to know about the breakfast spread in the hotel it was bad too.. there is no omelette counter and no varieties in food at all. All in all it's a total waste of money .

Poor service, very bad intigration of systems, despite making prior payment they asked us to pay against only to realise it was their fault. Room condition was not upto mark, bathroom condition was very pathetic and out of 30 rooms we booked 15 of them had broken Flush, the taps were not working properly. Cleaning of rooms were not done regularly, only after telling them multiple times they cleaned the room.

Checke in hotel at around 11.30 pm on 22nd. The Guy at the reception was less aware about the hospitality then rude government officials. Asked for food. What was available was Toast and Milk ( I am surprised how come the GM of the hotel never thought of option except toast,) Any way was hungry had it. The room had a peculiar smell of socks, The front office attendant had a very ready made answer like will inform higher management. The Room assigned to me had a WC with black marks and the room was badly maintained.
