    There are only 2 things going for this hotel for me at least - 1. The location, 2. The Matsuri Japanese restaurant in their premises. That's about it. The rooms - really bad, seriously in need for some major refurbishing. The Indian restaurant's food - The hotel needs to replace the chefs immediately or make the current ones eat that stuff, they will themselves resign. The front office and management staff - polite but sound immature. The waiters, housekeeping, security staff - wonderful people. Management should learn something from them. The hotel majorly caters to Japanese clientele and it reflects in their behavior towards the rest of the clients. I will not stay in this hotel again but I will visit the Matsuri restaurant again for sure.

    The best thing about this place is its location. They have good food- an excellent breakfast buffet. However, their rooms and facilities are ageing. What's really atrocious about this place is its managerial staff. The front office manager was actually rude from the word go. Most of the staff have zero people skills. This is not a four star hotel by any standards. Just that its situated on expensive real estate.

    This is the worst hotelever. Staf at the reception stink of arrogance and irresponsible nature. All of a sudden they ask you to get out of the room with zero intimation. All because room was booked through travel app. The duty manager as he calls himself is unfit to be a bloody peon.

    Politeness & Courtesy are invaluable aspects of the hospitality industry, especially in front office employees. Civility in the hotel employees exhibits refinement in the hotel management. However, this is sadly lacking in The Chancery. I had made a booking in Chancery for the 10th-13th December 2021 to attend the Reunion of my college, quite early on the 1st December with a caveat that I will check-in early assuring the reception that I will reimburse the charges for early check-in. A great shock awaited me when I reached the hotel at 8:40 AM when the surly lady supervisor at the reception rudely informed me that she will not allow the room and directed another impolite male employee not to allot the room. I was made to wait for 50 minutes early in the morning following a 13-hour journey before I was bluntly told to take my bags to the room by myself. It appears they do not have a provision for a bell desk. The bummer continued when I went for the shower & bathroom flooded and when I brought this to the notice of the boorish house-keeping executive on the phone, He gave a free lecture on how to use the shower curtain to a person who has traveled all over the world & stayed in some of the best hotels. This inconsiderate behavior continued after inviting a couple of my friends Ajit and Aravind for dinner on the 12th & returned back by 10:15 PM, the same front office abusive lady informed me offhandedly that since my guests had overstayed in the room I ended up paying a needless ₹2000/- The staff apparently requires a rapid course in public relations. The Hotel Chancery is extremely avoidable. Stay in this hotel if you are prepared to be humiliated.

    Horrible experience I had because they charged a lot of money at first but then I have to bring my friend in order to solve the situation who was staying in Bangalore only and also I thought of moving out of the hotel because of their behaviour and attitude which I didn't like the management team is very poor and also the manager is very harsh you can save my last day at Bangalore was horrible and also I didn't like the bed sheets and the pillow covers the case because it was too dirty. They charged badly from the people staying there also at night there is no housekeeping service therefore overall staying at that hotel was horrible.
