Stayed there for 3 nights. Location is in Tambaram east, under the Tambaram flyover, near Fatima church. Quiet location, in a small street.
Staff at the reception are cordial and polite.
There is parking available for only one four wheeler. First come first served. That too the slope to park is very rickety. Parking on the street, you may be asked to move the vehicle if one comes.
The room was small, ok for 2 but crowd for 3. One kind bed. We asked for bed sheets and they gave it. Bathroom is small, the place to hang clothes is above the commode, making it difficult to reach the stand. Very little space to keep toiletries. Hot water available 24 hours.
A cupboard and a shelf to keep luggage.
They provide breakfast in the room - idly, vada, puri. There is no restaurant. Even for coffee one has to got to a nearby tea shop. if you ask the hotel folks to get, then it is Rs. 45 for a small cup of nescafe. No restaurants nearby - nearest is a Saravana Bhavan and Ganga sweets at the Tambaram station - 10 mins walk. Madras christian college is 10 mins walk. Other than a tea shop, bakery and a medicine shop, could not find any shops nearby.
There is no laundry service. We called up a laundry shop and asked them to pick up and deliver our clothes, They never turned up. Finally, we did some washing in the room bathroom and dried them in the terrace of the hotel - a spacious terrace with strings for hanging clothes (the service boys, have a couple of rooms in the terrace and have place for hanging clothes.)
on the whole, an ok stay.
