Our stay at Summit grace was so beautiful. We booked a suite room and it was so clean and spacious. The view from the balcony is to die for. I have attached some pictures for you to see. The food and service was amazing too. Beautiful location!

It was really a great experience in summit grace ..it's really nice and a clean hotel . The suite rooms are brilliant with a cottage kind of feel . And big shout out to the staff . Especially the manager/incharge Mr.Dupden was really kind and was so cooperative with us through out our stay by giving us early check-in and made us so comfortable for all the 3 days we stayed there . He also helped us with transportation to visit few places around Darjeeling . And also chef Mr .Naveen was very kind to make us very tasty food.

Provides a very nice view of the city and Kanchenjunga is visible if the weather is clear. The hotel is clean and the staff is very polite and helpful. The rooms are super amazing with a fireplace and the beds are electrically heated to give you a cozy feeling. The best part is the lounge where you can spend your whole day just enjoying the Kanchenjunga. Only the problem is the food I wouldn't say it's bad but the waiting time is too long they can work on it. location is great provided you have to walk around 20 minutes to reach the mall road. While coming I recommend booking a cab it will cost you 200.

An excellent hotel, courteous staff and prompt service. We had booked a suite, it was extremely spacious and beautiful. The icing on the cake was the delicious food served every single time. The spread was not huge, but the food was so fresh and amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting darjeeling, as it is also near to mall road. Thank u Summit for making our holiday memorable.

Summit Grace Hotel in Darjeeling is the worst hotel that I have ever seen in my whole life. After checking-in at the reception counter, the staff proudly said that they are giving us a “Deluxe” room with a “balcony”. Once we entered the room, we found a 2 ft x 2 ft open balcony full of bird droppings and, for that reason, stinking. There were piles of garbage in the corridor just outside that room. When we refused to stay in that room, we were given another “Deluxe” room which, they regretted, had no balcony! That second room had a foul smell because of which it would be impossible to stay inside the room for more than a few minutes. The furniture was either broken or in a dilapidated condition. The wooden frame of the bed had a visible large crack. There was a half-broken room heater under an equally dilapidated wooden table. The mattress on the wooden frame of the bed was ancient. The “Deluxe” type room that we had booked turned out, in reality, to be very small in size. When we checked-in, we realized that the images uploaded by the hotel are highly deceptive. In fact, the room was so small that not even two suitcases of the two guests could stand in one corner in that room. There was no lift and one had to climb up and down the steep staircase even for approaching the room from the entrance and the dining area. The distance between the hotel and the mall area, and the steep slope of the road, is such that, except for hikers, it is impossible to cover the distance by walking. The cab service charges a minimum of Rs.300/- each way (that is Rs.600/- in each round). Given the lack of cleanliness all around, we could not have eaten any food served by that hotel. There is also no decent (a subjective concept, of course, depending on one’s sense of health and hygiene) restaurant near the hotel. We decided to leave this hotel, irrespective of whether or not the hotel refund the amount that we had been charged already in advance for the planned three days of stay. With the help of the manager of a big hotel (that, unfortunately, had no vacant room), we got a decent room in a hotel near Raj Bhavan. We went back to Summit Grace Hotel just to pick up our luggage and leave immediately, never to look back again at that property. So, we did not stay for even one night in that hotel although we paid for three nights. The hotel refused refund citing the rules of online booking (we had booked through AGODA). We have suffered both mentally and financially; I hope no one else suffers the same.
