Exellent stay, beautiful ambience, staffs are very cordial and supportive...food was the added attraction. Stayed 6 nights and 7 days there and it was my 6th stay at same hotel in last 5 years.. Love the place, will visit soon

The property is located on the Mahakal Market side exit of the Mall. Just 2 mins casual walk from the mail mall. The Mahakal temple entrance is opposite to the hotel entrance, so you would have a nice time early in the morning just to wake up, shower and offer puja at the Mahakal temple, post which you can return and have breakfast. Its like a temple next door. The hotel only have 6 rooms, well furnish with wooden floor. Bathroom is quite big and fitted with 24X7 Geyser water supply. Very rarely there is a power cut but the property has its own generator. Food is good but with limited choice. However, the chef can tailor made the dish you want. The rooms are quite big with beautiful view. If you are expecting a 3star / 4 star property type welcome and service then you will be utterly disappointed. However, if you feel that its your bungalow in some outstation you will enjoy the stay. Specially suited for couples and people who love serenity. One drawback: You have to be drop off from the vehicle far off and that you have to call the hotel 10 mins earlier. They would send a porter to carry your luggage. Although they pay for the amount (Rs 50) and tip of min Rs 50 is also appreciated as you will feel pity for the porter who would carry your luggage to the hotel and its almost 500m to 800m hill climb. For elderly of disabled you might want to have a second thought to choose this property, my personal opinion, I loved this property and would recommended to explore if you want to be in serendipity.

After going through several kinds of research and the review we finally decided to book this Resort Central Gleneagles. Which is situated at the Chowrasta the Mall which is the famous landmark and the most happening place of Darjeeling.We booked their executive club room. The best part of this room is that it has an attached balcony. The room is fully wooden furnishing including the floor, ceiling and walls. The resort has all the modern amenities in the rooms; mineral water, tea coffee maker, room heater, electric blanket, geyser with 24hrs hot and cold water supply, and free Wi-Fi.The room was a very neat and clean bathroom with all toiletries. The view from the room balcony is just awesome.One can enjoy the Darjeeling tea sitting on the balcony and makes you feel close to nature. If the weather is clear you can see Mt. Kanchenjunga in front of you. The staff's are friendly and always ready to help.The food is excellent! I will definitely recommend the place.

I was highly recommended to stay here by my cousin. And I am so glad that I chose this hotel. It is the quieter side of the Mall with magnificent view of the mountains and the valley. Each day is a wow experience with the breadth taking views. Walk around the Mall is a beautiful nature walk with no pollution, it’s truly heaven on earth. Food is good and staff too are friendly.

We stayed in this property and had a wonderful experience. Great view, big sized spacious heritage rooms. Delicious food and prompt service. Location is in the heart of mall road. Very easily accessible.
