I stayed at this hotel with my wife for a few hours before leaving Goa. Its a decent hotel with good food and good service. Though it's not too far from the beach you would still want to stay a little closer to the beach. At least its away from the noise and hustle bustle if you are looking for a peaceful place to stay. Food is good, and the staff is efficient with their service. Bikes and cars for rent are arranged on request. A great location for Goa right next to Baga beech. Great owners who are always very helpful and around. The hotel runs very smoothly and is always busy. The restaurant is brilliant and all the people that work in it are always happy to help and have a smile on their face. Well done the Regency Hotel

Riverside residency is a wee bit away from the beach, instead situated on the banks of a small river. Takes about a brisk walk of 15 mins to get to the Baga Beach where all the action is. The nice thing about the place is that it isn't in a noisy neighbourhood and not exorbitantly priced like whatever goes by the name of a beach resort. Food is nice and staff is helpful. There is a taxi hiring hut just outside which will take you where you want to go. Lots of signs in Russians and a few old comrades can be seen there too. It's OK for a short trip where you are not expecting to be sitting on the lap of luxury...

I have booked the room for 3 days on the experience has been horrible. Fan is broken, the bed is torn, blankets are smelling bad, and bathroom smells like a public toilet. Keep in mind they charge Rs. 1000 for an extra bed. I went to the Mangaer (Savio), he is reluctant to listen and mentioned "I don't take complaints and you can share this with the boy". If you are coming to Goa and wants to stay near Baga, try to avoid this to save ur money. I am more than happy to share my booking details to check the authenticity of this review.

plz dont go with the pictures... the resort is useless..very bad services 1. they refused to give extra empty glasses in the room.. said bring from your frnds room. 2. the breakfast.. the most pathetic breakfast i have ever seen... only toast and poha.. and if u eat omllete you will get only omllete .. no extra one.. they will charge you for that. 3. free parking is actually on main road.. they dont allow the car to enter into the premises. 4. drainage system of the bathroom is tooo slow.. the whole bathroom will get filled with water while bathing. 5. the food is also ok.. there are n no. of restaurants nearby...much better. 6. wont give more than 1500 for such room .. no proper toiletries available..2 or 3 channels on tv.. which were also nt working in my room. 7. bathrooms have such ventilation that anybody can see inside and will listen each and every thing standing outside.
