We stayed at the hotel for a night and had both breakfast and a meal included in our package. The rooms can be compared to a five star property. However, the toilet was not at par with a five star property. Still I will rate my experience as 5 star because of the food they serve. We reached at about 2 PM at their restaurant “Aurora” after checking into our room. We ordered for our signature selection, kadhai paneer and dal makhani with veg pulao and brownie with icecream as a desert. To our delight the menu also had tava chapati which was much needed after our excursion. The food came to our table after almost 50 minutes and it made us restless but I can certainly claim that the wait was worth it. The kadhai paneer tasted sumptuous. It felt as if I am treated in one of the bylanes of old delhi. Later in evening we ordered for a cup of tea and again to our delight it tasted amazing. Overall I will suggest travellers to stay in this hotel and do have a meal in it. It is definitely worth the money you are paying. Cheers!

The hotel personnel are excellent and sympathetic to our concerns. As it is an old hotel, it is on the way to renovating its interiors. The bathrooms need to be fixed in terms of the shower doors. When we stayed at the hotel the bathroom was flooded post the shower as the doors were not aligned properly with significant gaps allowing the water to leak out. The food served for breakfast was wholesome and filling.

We stayed here for one night when the CAB protests were going on in Guwahati. The rooms are decent, but the service provided by the hotel is poor. When we inquired about the transport to Airport, they were unable to give any answer. The service in the restaurant is also pretty slow.

Stayed here only for a night. Reached a bit late and the whole hotel premises was in darkness- someone at the reception lit up some lights when I arrived. Checkin was fast. The floor again was in utter darkness, with flickering room lights. The room from the inside looked fine, but had a pungent smell. There was a general dampness inside the room, like what you’d see in an old property with insufficient upkeep. Overall functional if it’s just for a night, but nothing to look forward to

We were given torn towels, bad food and impolite service. The manager wasn’t available to discuss any issue through our stay of 18 hours. We arrived in the afternoon and were checked into our room without any incident. Lunch was also uneventful. However from dinner things started going downhill. Our travel agent had pre booked our dinner. The hotel offered a buffet which lacked options and the food tasted really bad. Thereafter- we asked for towels which were torn and unusable. Next morning we checked out for our evening flight.
