Hotel Kalyan

We had a wonderful stay at hotel kalyan jaipur. The rooms are spacious and rooftop restaurant is really beautiful wjth nice lights. We will definitely come back soon. The lication is a big plus and rooms are spacious.

We were three people in a room. The room was big with traditional Rajasthani architecture. The food served here was great. Supportive staff. This is very near to the city center and all the tourist attractions in the pink city were just a walk away.

Stay is very nice and the food of hotel is very very tasty and good preparation. The rooms are spacious and its really clean. The main highlight is the live music at rooftop restaurant. Coming back at kalyan soon again.

To summarise my stay ; 1. No hot water in the room, the hotel staff gave us hot water in buckets , we asked for half bucket, but we’re provided only 1/4th bucket of hot water 2. No daily house keeping - rooms will be left uncleared during your stay 3. No coordination between staff may it be hotel or restaurant - we were initially allotted one room, later were shifted to another room, front desk did not inform the staff about the room number, restaurant- we asked for 1 Pepsi but were given 2 bottles by 2 different staff 4. Old property, definitely has a tired look and feel to it 5. No outside food allowed and the restaurant rates are expensive for Jaipur city, they are charging metropolitan restaurant rates 6. Blankets are provided, but I am not sure how often they are cleaned, when we checked-in, several room cleaning were taking place in the property n all the blankets were lying on the floor outside the room 7. They provide complimentary breakfast, but they won’t tell you it’s room service only… Recommendation: There are newer n better hotels right next to this property at a little higher cost , would recommend those hotels than this , self proclaimed 2-star hotel Not sure why this property has for 4.2 stars, they are not worth 2 stars too
