Spacious rooms. Lovely flooring. Clean and well made bathroom. It's away from main road and the route to main market is without street lights - so having a own vehicle would be good. Breakfast - little variety. Dinner - we had to go out because they do not have anything ready. BEWARE - They did not generate bill saying system is not working. Also did not mail me the bill.

Pros - Spacious Room Cons - Plenty to list down. Old fashioned rooms, dusty bed sheets, stinky restrooms, unwillingness to offer room service or to serve food due to ongoing conference, tasteless breakfast etc. The only good thing is the pool side. Looking at the quality of rooms, it’s not even worth spending 1k per night. Avoid in all cases. I spent 5.5k for 2 nights and it was a total waste.

Very basic property and no much amenities. None of them work and breakfast is very poor as all omlet, fruits, you need to pay xtra. Stay here only if no other choice comes to you. If you intend to request a late check out there will be a big catch .

I couldn't find a zero rating otherwise would have preferred to give that. I regret the last minute booking which I did with this hotel due to last minute plans. Have stayed in many hotels across the country but this was the worst ever experience. Hotel Condition: 1/5 Hotel condition was really bad and the rooms and hotel was stinking of dampness in the walls. We tried multiple times to call a person with room freshener but seemed that noone was really bothered. Thankfully we had to stay only 1 night which itself was difficult. The Bedsheets were very dirty and after calling the person multiple times even, no one came. We had to put blanket on the bed and sleep over it. The Bathroom didn't have any exhaust fan as well which was strange and hence it was stinking too. Room Service: 1/5 Service was very very poor. Whatever we asked for never could really reach us. There were no towels kept in the bathroom and even after asking we didn't get it. The rain water was gushing inside the room from window and door. Food: 2/5 Food was ok but strange thing again that there were strict timings of particular food being served. In the evening, when we asked for some specific food, they denied it completely and mentioned they are only taking dinner order now. Normally hotels have all time snacks which was not available there. Staff: 2/5 Staff was ok and some of them sounded little rude when asked for something. The best person we got was the guard at the gate who was overly helpful. Hotel Location: 2/5 Little inside from the highway but no good views nothing. The price is on higher side compared to the hotel which we witnessed. You can certainly get a better hotel at this cost. Not recommended at all.

I stayed at Sapphire Lonavala during May 2016 for a single night. Having been to Pune, i decided in favour of a lay-off in this hotel. It was a wrong decision partly because of bad weather and partly because of bad selection of hotel. They charged extra Rs. 500 for pool-view room despite the hotel being empty. I had booked two rooms but one of the guys didn't turned up. I didn't wanted refund but they could have provided a better room. Hotel staff didn't know anything about Lonavala. The hotel is situated in such a place where it is almost impossible to get any type of conveyance for centre of the town. The breakfast served to us was tasteless (upma, omeletter, etc.) and severely insufficient. Please stay away from this pathetic hotel. This was the worst hotel i stayed in my life. I also think Lonavala is worst place to come during summers and good only for rainy season. There is nothing to do in Lonavala.
