The Beas Hill Resort

Sorry to inform you but this beautiful property has been CLOSED and DEMOLISHED due to road widening project. It will be missed by many families. We can officially retire this hotel from the trip advisor.

Nice hotel, adjacent to river beas, great view from rooms. it was my 2nd stay and always prefer Hotel Beas for my future stay, It always good to book hotel in advance in season time else it next to impossible to get any room.

I stayed with my family and friends in the month of May 2017 in this hotel. This hotel is right below the mall road which is 50 mtrs away from the hotel. This very old property of manali. The rooms are basic and justify its tariff. Toilet are very neat and clean. Food provided by the hotel is basic but stomach filling. But best part of this hotel is service by the people who are working there. I rate 5 star for the service. I would like to visit again to this hotel.

This is a budget hotel and root was fine. Taxi is available on demand so you can get to nearby locations easily. Also bus stand is near(Government). Easy to reach at Mall Road so you can enjoy shopping.

I first visited this hotel in 2011 and had very good memories of this place till I visited this year in September.The reason for choosing this hotel was the location and view.It is very close to the bus stand and the mall road and one can get a very good view of the beas river as it flows adjacent to the hotel compound.They give complementary breakfast which was good.But I was really upset seeing the poor maintenance of this hotel this time.The cupboard was Dusty and the blankets in the cupboard were extremely dirty.When we asked to change the same ,the hotel staff's reply was " you don't need these blankets as it is not so cold.The one given in the bed will be sufficient for you".So he didn't change it. The intercom was out of order and they couldn't fix the same during our stay of three days. The bathroom door was getting stuck and was not getting closed properly.There was no dustbin inside the toilet.However the toilet was clean compared to the room.Flakes and paints were coming out from the wall adjacent to the bathroom and it really looked gross.Couldn't sit in the balcony as the chairs given were not at all clean.This kind of maintenance is not expected from a room which has a rate of Rs 2000 plus tax.Moreover we had to pay in cash as their card swiping machine was not working.Would request the authority to take a notice on the maintenance.
